Smooth, Mild, and Exceptionally Reliable – My Go-To EVOO
This is the best extra virgin olive oils (EVOOs) available today. I usually opt for the tin over the dark glass bottle—it stays fresher longer and is more durable for everyday use. The flavor is smooth, balanced, and subtly fruity. It’s clearly a late-season harvest, with a light greenish-yellow hue. Perfect for daily cooking—this is the oil we reach for every single day. The quality is incredibly consistent; after dozens of orders, I’ve never received a bad batch. It’s produced in Italy by the Asaro family farm, which has been crafting olive oil for five generations. Flavor-wise, this is on the milder side. If you're looking for a bolder EVOO, try their Robust version (in the red tin). It’s slightly darker, still fruity, but with a pleasant peppery finish. If you're after the boldest option with a more complex, grassy profile, go for Paesanol Organic Unfiltered Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It's an early season harvest from the same Asaro family farm but made from a blend of Nocellara del Belice, Biancolilla, and Cerasuola olives. In contrast, Partanna uses only the Nocellara del Belice variety. TL;DR: This is the best late-season organic EVOO I’ve found (and I’ve tried dozens). Smooth, mild, and perfect for everyday cooking.
