FLIMSY COVER
Cover was not as sturdy as it should be. Similar type of cover for Fire tablet was much studier. Felt like it would tear apart after a while. Got a different cover, keeping this one as a back up.

It could stand to be a little more sturdy, but overall, worth the price.
This tablet cover is for the new 8-inch Alldocube tablet I bought. It fits perfectly and works simply, but effectively, the way it was described on its webpage ad. The silicone portion that actually wraps around the tablet protecting it is fine. The little "buttons" that actually work the tablet's buttons (remember, this "cover" covers the tablet's buttons as well as the tablet), are on the stiff side. This means that to get a reaction from the tablet's buttons (power, volume) you have to use a rather determined "push". I don't know if this will get easier with time and use, I'm hoping, but I rather doubt it as these "buttons" are just as thick as the rest of the case. What allows them to work as "buttons" is the small cutout areas that surround them, making the areas a bit more flexible than the surrounding silicone. The "buttons" are stiff enough I've been considering cutting them out so I can simply reach the actual buttons on the tablet, but I haven't done that yet. Where my concern is, and why I didn't give this cover 5 stars, the portion of the cover that protects the screen and folds out of the way for use, feels rather flimsy, to be honest. I'm not rough on any of my "tech" or tools, but this cover's "cover" feels, well, cheap. I'm hoping I'm wrong, and what the maker was after was to make the cover comfortably usable, as it's designed to fold along 3 "hinge" points, making a sort of triangulated "prop" to lean the tablet back against on a table top or other flat surface. And yes, it works just like that. In fact, it also works in that regard if you want to hold the tablet with just one hand, as like for reading a book, etc. with the cover folded into its triangle-shape your left hand can sort of wrap around it, like a handle, to actually hold the tablet out for reading (yes, the Alldocube 8-inch is light enough you can easily do this). My concern is the cover's folding-flap is made from what they call "innovative" materials, what I call some form of vinyl, which in my experience has proven to be able to fold only so many times before it cracks and splits apart. Yes, the price is very inexpensive so what do I expect? I expect that it will probably perform acceptably for a short time and then fail. So, for now it works. How well does it work? The silicone portion does a fine job protecting the tablet from bumps, knocks, and possibly even from small drops (as long as it doesn't land face first, then all bets are off). The folding cover? Well, so far it hasn't really been tested, but I believe it will protect the screen from most things you might drop on it directly, as long as it isn't heavy and pointed. Its lining is soft and doesn't damage the screen's surface. As for folding it into its prop position, well yes, it does that and does prop the tablet up, for the most part. But to be successful you have to fold it perfectly and be firm in leaning the tablet back against it, otherwise the tablet just falls flat. No harm done, but you won't be able to see anything. I think those tablet covers that are thicker and have those grooves to hold it in the propped up position are more positive in their use. But those covers are inherently thicker, meaning they're bulkier and heavier and don't lend themselves to being held up as easily for reading in your hand, so I guess I'll end this with: This is an inexpensive tablet cover that does the job if you do your part with it, doesn't weigh your tablet down and provides reasonable protection for it. I guess that's a "I recommend it" for now. I may be back to update this review, later.

Ill-fitting cover ruins case
The case fits the tablet fine, but two things ruin it:1) the material of the case portion is very flexible. While this makes the case easy to get on, it also makes it easy to come off, even inadvertently. Also it means the case doesn't sit flush to the tablet near the cover "hinge".2) the folding cover appears too large for the body of the case, and as a result tends to sit unevenly and buckle when held, compromising the screen protection.Would not recommend.
