We were moving and taking down curtain rods the last few screws were stripped and I really wanted my rods, these worked great to get the stripped screws out! A nice addition to our tool box !

I had some stripped screws in the outside door hinges and the door had dropped so I couldn't tighten the screws. I had a friend I worked with to help me, and he just sort of ignored using your kit until he finally tried it. When he left, he asked me where I got it. He was impressed.

I was just barely starting a project on my motorcycle when I stripped a hex screw, fortunately I had this extractor set in the back of my tool chest for just in case! It took a little bit of effort to get the screw out (I don't think this set is meant for such a large hex screw) but after some drilling, I managed to finally get the extractor to set and had to use a crescent wrench to twist it out because my drill was not powerful enough!My only gripe with this is that it's not super clear on which side to use first to drill the pilot hole and which side is for the actual extraction itself. If you've used a tool like this before, I'm sure it's a no brainer, but for any first timers, the threaded side is the extractor!You never know when you're going to need it, so buy this kit today! Just remember, when drilling, both the pilot hole and the extractor are done in reverse (counter clockwise)

I wish this product included clearer instructions. While the online listing has fairly comprehensive instructions, I still wasn’t able to extract a stripped screw. These bits didn’t seem to manipulate the screw other than continuing to strip it. Perhaps my drill wasn’t strong enough, or the screw was made of the wrong material, but the freshly stripped screws just wouldn’t budge.
