I searched high and low for an eyeliner that works well right under the lash /on the waterline. This is it! Glides on easily and very smoothly, the espresso color is the perfect neutral brown, sets fast, and definitely doesn't smudge or transfer to my lower lid throughout the day. Not impossible to remove, either...cleanser + micellar water does the trick for me.

This pencil is easy to apply and the color is great- not too harsh and using it along my lash line makes my lashes look thicker. Unfortunately it tends to smear after several hours. It would be great if it did a better job of staying put!

I think the gel liner is replacing Stila’s waterproof smudge stick as I can no longer find it in stock anywhere. I bought Damsel. It looks a slight bit darker than the original smudge stick. The gel glides on a lot more smoothly. I hate changing products and was suspicious of how I would like it. However, I think I love this more!! When applying, you can still smudge it if you want to, but if you don’t smudge it, it will set within 30-60 seconds. Super quick. Also the smudge stick used to run throughout the day, get under my eyes. The GEL stick STAYS PUT. NO more eyeliner dropping!! It looks as fresh as the moment I put it on 14 hrs ago. Super easy, moist, glides clean. For once, I actually like a product “improvement.” Easily washed off with soap and water or whatever you normally use. Is definitely waterproof. I will say I like the gold letters on the original vs the silver stars they put on the pencil if you care about how the pencil actually looks.

This breaks easily when I am using it. It is not any better than the one that I usually get at the Dollar Store.
