Globe Scientific 1404-15 Cover Glass, 22 x 22mm, #1.5 Thickness (Case of 10)

These were actually the only cover slips I could locate specifying the 17mm thickness required for best results with my Zeiss objectives. At 22x22mm, these are also a bit larger than most of the other cover slips sold on Amazon. The larger size seems easier to handle and would come in handy when making permanent mounts. The cover slips arrived packed as specified - each box of the 10 sealed in individual foil. The packaging and slips were extremely clean - these are obviously produced in a high-technology controlled environment. The layout of the cover slips within each small plastic box facilitates grasping just one when needed. (But do ensure your fingers are quite dry when reaching for the slip.) The lot of 10 boxes (about 1480 cover slips in all) seems to be the minimum order. However, these should last me quite a while and in any case the price is very reasonable.

These coverslips are the correct 0.17mm thickness and are legitimately clean, a lot of others on amazon are false advertised as clean and the right thickness. So glad i dont have to clean these all by hand! thanks globe scientific

I was looking for slide glass without fungus contamination in this shop wasn't the exception.

I love the package that these come in, the coverslips are very easy to take out of the case without them sticking together. Also, the thickness of the coverslips I've looked at so far seem to actually be accurate and uniform. Don't get cheap coverslips, you'll have thicknesses that are all over the place. They seem clean too, but they say you should clean all coverslips before using, I don't do this and it seems fine.
