Hit or miss
I have tried 3 of these scents:•Coconut Skin (-20/10)Burned my nose and smelled awful. Nearly made me throw up every time I caught a whiff•Vanilla Skin (1,000/10)Most incredible fragrance ever. So feminine and kind of sweet. Very intoxicating. Doesn’t last long so needs to be reapplied throughout the day. Bottle lasts a very long time. Has a very clean not overly strong smell. I throw mine in a bag and carry it with me throughout the day, I’ve only ever noticed very minor leakage a couple of times so the packaging is good quality. The lid did come cracked from shipping which is not a big deal and hasn’t caused an issue, it still clicks onto the bottle and stays secure.•Heavy Cream (0/10)Manly musky smell. Doesn’t smell good and when mixed with the vanilla skin (like the advertisements suggest on social media) it completely overpowers and ruins the smell of the vanilla too, no matter which order it’s applied in.

Sooo GOOD! My third purchase of this scent!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOOOOVE this body mist. I have the perfume too, and love it as well. But for the money I feel the body mist works just as well. The trick I found to make it last on my skin, is to spray It very close, almost like a stream and then rub your arms together and create friction. And do that wherever you want to spray it and it lasts forever. I get so many compliments on this scent. It pairs well with all of my really expensive perfumes, I love to layer them. I’ve tried a few other Phlur scents (the caramel and the coconut (YUCK)) and do not recommend, also the heavy cream, which does nothing for me. It’s not good either, imo. Vanilla skin is warm and rich and not a disgustingly artificially sweet vanilla. It has depth to it that I love. A great all year scent!

Perfect sweet smell. However, too expensive
This is the review you’re looking for;Vanilla skin:Scent is great, gourmand. Has that slight scent of being a more ‘adult’ smell because you can smell a tinge of the sandalwood every now and again. People have commented on the body mist not really having great longevity but I think That is a mix of things—1.) this is a body mist. It’s meant to be reapplied. 2.) You’re not applying it correctly 3.) Skin sweats and clothes rub on it so it makes sense that it might not last on your skin. Those things being said, here is how I apply it so that it sticks for ALMOST the duration of the day. Right after I get out of the shower, a couple sprays of this goes on. I follow up with a lotion moisturizer and THEN a little bit of body oil. For reference I use G0ld B0 nd ultra healing and LifeFl0 almond oil but I don’t think the Brand matters so much as you’re giving the body mist something to adhere to. After moisturizing I spritz more, on my pulse points. And once more in my dried hair before I leave for work.I do want to point out that the scent sticks GREAT on clothes and hair. Long after I cant Smell it on me, if I flip my hair around I can Definitely smell it.Phlur Heavy Cream; This scent isn’t as gourmand to me as vanilla skin but still is sweet. I’ve heard people say it is reminiscent of sunscreen and that might be because lots of sunscreens are fragranced with coconut or some type of floral. Upon first spray I sort of agree but it dries much different. It dries and smells very mildly of something like lemon frosting, but if you are someone who can’t get smells out of your head you’re definitely going to continue to smell sunscreen.I read some comments that said it smelled too much like a male cologne and I disagree.I bought Both of these in a pack because they’re supposed to smell good together and honestly the vanilla skin overpowers heavy cream and the heavy cream sits very lightly beneath it. Honestly ? Skip the pack and just buy two bottle of vanilla skin. Are there other cheaper body mists on the market ? Yeah. Generally with most of them I smell a little bit of alcohol. Should this be $38? No. $28 seems far more reasonable especially for something that is not eau de parfum—but that’s just me.Smells great, lasts if you use it right. Pricey.

Strong, but nice scent.
Is this just a body spray?? I have Vanilla Skin and wanted to give this a try. I am not disappointed as its super nice. Very musky, but you can still smell those vanilla undertones. But this stuff is like ten times stronger than the Vanilla Skin! Once spray is more than enough! It was making me sneeze like crazy! But it's so good. Give it a shot if you like Vanilla Skin but want something stronger and deeper in scent.

Warm and inviting scent
I bought this spray/perfume for my daughter’s birthday because she had asked for vanilla scented perfumes, lotions, body care items etc., and a coworker had recommended it to me. She loves it and so do I. It smells heavenly and lasts most of the day. It has a very warm and inviting scent and leaves you smelling like a snack lol. My daughter tends to spray it on pretty heavy and it can be overwhelming if you use too much. I told her that it smells like she bathed in it, and she said “I can’t help it I just love it so much!” I feel with this particular scent, a little goes a long way. I’d say it’s worth what I paid for it!

Cozy Vanilla, Elevated with Spice
Vanilla Skin is like wearable comfort—a warm, creamy vanilla with an unexpectedly luxe twist. The pink pepper and sugar top notes add subtle intrigue before melting into cozy notes of cashmere wood, vanilla, sandalwood, and agarwood. It’s sophisticated, not cloying, and ideal for cooler seasons or when you want a comforting scent that still feels refined. Plus, you can use it on both hair and body.

Defective nozzles
The media could not be loaded. The scent is great, however, the reason I take away 2 stars is because I think there is a defect in the spray bottles. I literally have only used this maybe 3 times and the nozzle for the spray bottle stopped working properly. It squirts out short streams of product instead of a mist. I’ve tried cleaning it and different tricks and nothing solved the issue. And this isn’t the first time this has happened to me with a Phlur product because I have a small version of vanilla skin and that spray nozzle also stopped working fairly quick. Considering this product isn’t a very cheap purchase I expect more. So just be aware of this when purchasing, you may have to purchase empty spray bottles along with your purchase of Phlur.
