Recently saw Wicked on Broadway and my avid reader 8 year old was dying to learn more. These books are amazing and made a great gift for her!

Oz Book Set
The books arrived within 3 days, intact, new and in order. I bought a box to display them in and am excited to start my Oz journey.

No illustrations but all the words are there.
When I opened these books, I was certain that due to their thin presentation; not all of the entire story...i.e. all of Baum's words were in these books. In other words, I thought they were abridged. I e-mailed the publisher and was assured the OZ books are represented here in their entirety, word for word. It's the presentation that's quite sparse (belied by the wonderful cover art, mind you...and the Slip case). We are all so used to illustrated versions with colored plates and end papers and such; but these are just the words and nuthin' but the words. As much as the artwork adds to the enjoyment of reading the books, indeed it is Baum's prose that IS the story. It's all here and if it introduces my granddaughters to the world of OZ, I'm good with that for now.

O box é de ótima qualidade, material bem resistente e a arte é linda. Os livros são bem simples e a capa deles são um pouco mole, porem a impressão é boa e clara. Todos vieram sem nenhum defeito e a encomenda chegou em 4 dias úteis.

An amazing collection with beautiful illustrations

A nice collection
The box isn't cheaply put together like some box sets I have bought. It is sturdy enough to safely hold the books which are printed to a high quality. The cover art of each book is gorgeous. The price is very reasonable. I am happy that they have included The Royal Book of Oz by Ruth Plumly Thompson. I hope that the publishers will release another box set containing the other OZ novels that she wrote as these are really hard to come by individually nowadays. I bought these for myself for nostalgia (I'm almost 40 years old). Great for both children and adults.
