Great product for bikepacking

I purchased the eVac line of Compression sac a few years ago from Sea to Summit. These sacs were ultralight, waterproof, obviously made of quality materials. Thinking I would be getting the same thing, I placed an order for this bag; it was even the same color as the older version. When it arrived, I could tell it was a much cheaper product. It is nylon coated with a white laminate. Having had many other Sea to Summit bags, I know that the white laminate peels off after some use, making the bag no longer waterproof. The webbing straps were not the fine quality straps on the original, and the buckles were the cheap and heavier feeling buckles found on some product you might find in a "sporting goods store" (as opposed to a long-wearing quality outdoor product). If you owned the previous version, please understand that you will not be getting the same thing if you order this, sadly. I have uploaded two photos of what I THOUGHT I was getting... the photos represent the superior product that Sea to Summit used to make.
