Minimal bloatware. Screen brightness and picture is good. Battery life is what you would expect for a gaming laptop. The fan is not that noisy when gaming. It's performance in gaming is in my opinion very adequate. I am basing my review off playing empyrion galactic survival and state of decay 2. So for gaming it does it's job. It is a good gaming laptop for it's price point. It has RGB customizable keyboard lighting as well.

Better that what I expected. It runs so smooth. I have no issues with it. I don't encounter freezes, crashes, blue screens. It is quiet and the graphics are crazy better than I think I might ever need. I play the odd game now again on laptop and my old laptop really struggled. After changing up to this laptop I would never go back. It's like driving a high end sports car for an old lady like me. Very happy with my purchase. Always happy with HP.

8/27/2020 I hope I still like everything about this Laptop in a few months. It has nice clean lines and the size of 17" Screen is a nice view. Also I was surprised to see a DVD player on this one. Most do not have them. Perhaps it is an older model but it is still brand new to me. Also it has 3 USB ports AND an HDMI AND an Ethernet slot. Hooray so far. Will update if there comes along significant disappointments.

Graphics are awesome!

I have a Surface and a 15 inch Chromebook. Had to teach a class and for whatever reason neither would work so I borrowed my brother's high end 17 inch Dell for that class. Was not a touchscreen which was very frustrating but did enjoy the larger screen. Didn't want to spend thousands so went looking for the most inexpensive 17 inch Windows touchscreen. Success. Have been presently surprised with how much bang I got for my bucks. Got more than I expected. Ethernet and HDMI ports, 3 USB ports, and 3.5 plug in for headset. I only use it teach WebEx and Zoom classes and so not sure how it would perform as an everyday use laptop. Originally gave it four stars instead of five stars but more than a couple months of hard distance teaching use on WebEx and Zoom added the fifth star.
