This has made my efficiency vastly increase being cordless

I have a corded polisher and It was a pain to use since I always had to get extension cords out and make sure the cord did not drag on my car or get in the way. This cordless polisher is great. The size is just right for a car or smaller vehicle. It has two batteries so you don’t have to be concerned with running out of juice mid polish. The polisher also displays battery level on the tool. I did my entire car and the single fully charged battery still had at least 1/4 charge left. Nice. It has soft start so it does not throw polish all over as long as you have it down on the surface. It has plenty of speeds to do what you need to do. It comes with several polishing and buffing pads and cloths to wipe with. The charger is a simple plug that goes into each battery. I wish the batteries themselves had a light on something on them for charge capacity but the polisher shows on the display. There is a light on the charger that changes from red to green when the battery is fully charged. The polisher is fairly ergonomic and light enough that you can operate it with one hand if needed. There is no grippy stuff on it anywhere so you have to get a good hold on it when using at higher speeds. You really should not be using very high speed on this anyway since it can ruin the clearcoat. This polisher is not made to do major paint correction or any kind of sanding. This is purely for cleaner/wax application. This does not come with a case but not that big of a deal since I just store it in a tote with my polish and other car detail stuff. Overall, this is a decent polisher for the price.

This is an entry level DA (i.e., RO) buffer--or a secondary, light duty tool for touchups and contours best addressed with a smaller pad size (5" in this case). There are a lot of limitations to this tool, but it will get the basic job done for the average vehicle owner.Limitations:1. Poor (but not terrible) ergonomics. It lacks a handle (either straight or hoop). The tool body is not contoured but is basically a round shaft, making for a more tiring grip. The front bill is smooth on the bottom, also making gripping more tiring. This is just not a tool that is comfortable for extended use, or even brief use in awkward spaces.2. The batteries lack charge status indicators. Having a second battery becomes essential without a means to verify the charge status of the battery in use.3. The speed status panel is unreadable in direct sunlight.4. No included storage case.5. While the mid sized pads (5") will be useful in some spaces, they reduce coverage per pass, meaning more passes will have to be taken. Not much of a problem for a Corvette--but a deficiency when tackling a Suburban or large sedan.The good:1. The included pads are of good quality, with convoluted surfaces. They are well matched to the motor power available.2. Having two batteries.3. It is a fairly complete kit for a very modest price.Overall, I find this a 3 star product. But I give it 4 stars because the manufacturer is quite open about its limitations. This unusual level of candor alerts the potential buyer to the types of limitations, and allows the buyer to make decisions as to their personal importance, relative to the affordability of the overall package.
