how many pads come in a package?

There is only one pad. I bought another one to ease the washing process.

Does this have a Prop 65 warning? A lot of these products from China (like pet beds and blankets, etc) are not tested for heavy metals like Lead

As far as I know everything is carcinogenic. Chemicals in paint, metals used to build it. Our houses are filled with carcinogens in foods, clothes, air, drinking water…

How well do these work with uneven ground? My yard has a slight downward slope

I slope probably would make it difficult to Install. My yard is dirt and slightly uneven but the grade is so minimal that the fence panels connect well. I think if it is a constant decline you might be ok but if the grade changes you might not get the post through both panels well

What about the smell?

I never purchased washable pads.
