As all their products it works great, I just leave it plugged in 24/7 over the winter on my boat battery, saves money and time, for sure saves a battery that costs 500 or more. Those AGM will not last without this for a month the battery will be deader than dead never heard of a battery hitting 3 volts. Lots of electronics hooked up but still, had one go bad and will never happen again with this vs always the rule charge every month yeah that was lead battery not AGM with everything on it. Save money and time with this pocket change item, don't be that poor stupid person on the lake that has a dead battery, or worse sulfated battery.

I recently bought two of these to keep on my motorcycles because I was tired of switching my current one back and fourth. For the price of there they are by far the best ones on the market in this price range. I decided to my two more for some other vehicles that I let sit in the winter months. Great product at a great price.

I have been very pleased with this trickle charger ad purchased two to keep boat batteries charged over the winter months and they are keeping the batteries charged effectively. I did have one of these chargers go out shortly after getting it, however, manufacturer didn’t hesitate to send a replacement and to date no other issues or concerns. I would recommend these as they work exactly as described and manufacturer stands behind them.

I like the fact that this little charger detects what type of battery you are charging. It comes with a 5' long electrical outlet and 5' cord for the optional alligator clams or the O ring SAE to battery harness cable. The cables are 18 gauge wire. It has the Desulfater option to charge a battery that is below 6 volts. I have an old school Schumacher battery charger that I bought some 40 years ago and it still works great. Schumacher is a very good and trusted brand. Here are the negative: There are only 3 LED indicators. The RED: to show that the battery is DEAD or the Negative and Positive are crossed or connected improperly, or the Desulfater is on, trying to bring a low voltage battery to charge. YELLOW: to show that the charger is On and Connected to a battery and charging. GREEN: to show that the battery is fully charged or that its is trickling the battery for long term charging. It would be nice if it had an LCD meter to show the progress or the status of the charge. The O ring SAE cable is only 16" long and it does NOT come with a fuse. The alligator clams Neg and Pos are not insulated, only the handle where you squeeze are. The unit does not come with a hole to hang it on the wall or bracket to mount it on the wall or a work space. I returned this unit because I found another one that had a LCD to show the charging status and a mounting hole. I would recommend this for anyone who wants an easy to use, good quality charger. Schumacher is a trusted brand. It is well made and reliable.
