Fabric paint works well

Okay I read all the reviews first, and the product instructions. I did two methods. I wet the fabric first and I also applied dry. Both worked great, but to make your product last I suggest diluting with water, and applying wet or dry. Just make sure the fabric is clean. Two coats was perfect for the chairs I was repurposing (they were from an estate sale in a man’s cigar room and badly stained). I have cleaned them after painting and don’t have any issue with transfer or wear so far still. Love this product and would purchase again. Color is a bit brighter than I expected but diluting helped the second time. Great buy. Don’t blame the product or the company because you didn’t read up.

My expectations were probably too high but I wasn’t blown away by this product. I think it was expensive and the results achieved could also be achieved by more affordable acrylic craft paint. I had to use 24 ounces to achieve full coverage of a chair and that was expensive and honestly I could do with another bottle to touch up streaked areas. It left the fabric very stiff which is what I was trying to avoid by buying this more expensive product. The fabric I was painting was old velvet and maybe that was part of the challenge. However, I do love the color and I do love how it looks, I just wouldn’t buy it again because of price and because it doesn’t seem any different in formula to cheaper acrylic craft paint.

How can fabric paint fail to be waterproof?

Definitely needed more than one coat to get even coverage and it left my super soft couch feeling like sandpaper :( Color came out beautiful in the end but it feels like a couch covered in paint.

Work well did as I expected

Love the color. The paint is thick but not thick enough to where one coat will do. I did a lamp shade It took the entire bottle. The quality and price point is worth the purchase. I would but again.
