Totex Hair Styling GumGel | Gummy Ultra Strong Edge Control Red Gel For Men Woman Afro Hair Braiding 700 ml

I used this not for it's strength of hold as my hair is long, but to help me get rid of frizz during those days like gym or hot weather, a little bit also goes a long way too and 700ml is a ridiculous amount of gel that last years for the price. I have used similar texture product before and I still use them past best before and expiry dates because they still work. The scent might fade after expiry dates, and the gum might harden a bit and lose the strength of the gel, but I'm ok with that as long as I can use it on the go, to help tame my long hair without worrying about running out on gel. The scent isnt that bad, it's like professional salon style smell, It is definitely pleasant, not too strong and not too sweet, gives a nice finish to the hair which adds some shine, It is better for shorter hair though, but it tames my long hair from getting frizzy, value vs quantity, I've been using totex as far back as 2014 and have tried many other brands gummy, gatsby to name a few, totex is my favourite brand because it matches quality while being affordable, and puts the more expensive products to shame. This red one in particular makes the hair feel like it has more volume when it's dried up, and doesn't flake out like others I've used. As a little goes a long way, bit by bit around the hair, and get in there deep, gently massaging all around slowly and then start styling. After looking at the quantity left over, I realized this is going to last me ages.

It's a massive tub. Didn't realise quite how big until it arrived. Makes it excellent value for money. Product is good, very little needed for styling. Lasts well, keeping hold through 12hr shift. Would say would buy again. But think will take around 42 years to get this tub finished 👍

Best gel

I had previously used Uppercut pomade/clay to keep my hair in order which worked, but was like glue and very difficult to comb after it dried, so I tried this after a barber used it on me. This large tub was hardly any more money than a much smaller tub, so will last ages and keeps my hair in place. It sets in place, as does the pomade, but is easier to comb afterwards and has (for me) a bit of strong scented smell, but it’s not overpowering.

I have very thick, heavy, straight hair and have been spiking it up to various lengths for over a decade using this brand! It is very strong, smells nice and withstands light precipitation well. The pot is big but totally worth the money and size as it lasts for 6months+ (I use it almost every day). No other gel has managed to keep my hair spiked when it gets longer - this one does.

Good size gel however the lid was not secured prior to delivery. Second time this has happened.

Turned my hair into a deadly weapon! Just lather your hands in gel and mould your hair into a sharp blade and you've got yourself a cutting wrecking ball with a head my size 🤣. Would buy again if the smell didn't remind me of my old workplace.
