Use two at a time in my pool filter to catch all the fine materials like cottonwood and dog fur before it gets to my sand filter. I can see all the pollen that gets grabbed by this too, so I’m definitely reducing the load on the other filter by using this t the skimmer basket. Much cheaper than any other options (stockings or branded scum sock) and is what my pool guy suggested.

This fits my large-sized head and covers all of my hair and ears. If someone had a lot of hair then these probably wouldn't work as there is little to no room left for hair. These are highly compressed to fit into a small space. (See Picture)
