Great Soap Dyes for Creative Soap Making
I use these color dyes for making homemade soap, and they work very well. The colors mix easily into the soap and come out bright and even once the soap is dry. A little goes a long way, so the bottles last a long time. It’s fun to play with the colors and create unique shades. I’m very happy with the results and would recommend these dyes to anyone who makes soap at home.

Great Colors for Soap Making
I’ve been using these colorants for my soaps for quite some time and I keep repurchasing them because they work very well. They give my soaps a beautiful color.

Nice, bold colors
The colors are nice. I do wish the colors mixture directions made more sense though. They tell you how to mix different colors to make others, but none of the colors listed are actually what those included are called... Bottles are harder plastic which makes it a little more difficult to squeeze, but that is good because the cheap, thin plastic ones squeeze easily causing too much to color to drip out. These do not do that. It makes it easy to monitor. Good job on that!

Behaves oddly in cold process soaping
Lots of colors in this kit. Make sure to check the volume of each color in the description. Perspective of the images used in listing make them seem bigger. Each bottle is 6 ml. That's a hair over a teaspoon. Not a knock on seller at all. Just FYSA. Bought this for cold process soap making. Dyes behave very interestingly in lye. Big brick of soap was a hot mess project. All MY fault. Was going to be a blue and green swirl. Someone...me... forgot to add the scent oils. smh. So had to dump contents of mold back in bowl to mix the smell good in, which blended all the colors together, leading to the booger green loaf. In the AM, it wasn't booger green, was this purplish color. Much better than booger green :) , but unexpected for blue and green mixed together. Small block, using purple for color globs, on pour, got another greeny color. But as can see, it did shift to a purplish color. Had I used more color, it may have been more vivid purple. So, knocked a star off, only for using it in CP soap, due to being unable to judge how final product will turn out. I'm only a soap making hobbyist, so quality of soap and scent are most important to me. Awesome color is just a bonus. But if looking for consistent color for retailing soap, a mica based colorant may be a better choice. Bath bombs will be next project with these dyes. I suspect strong performance, since there is no exposure to caustic chemicals in that process, as opposed to making soap with lye. Personally, would not buy these again for lye soap making, but do plan to use them for other projects. That's my two cents, for what they are worth.

Great for slime!
Soap dye works great to color slime without leaving dye all over the kids’ hands. Be warned—it can dye your skin a bit if it touches you before it’s fully mixed in to the product. But even then, it comes off much easier than food coloring or gel food dyes. There are plenty of color options in this set, and a few drops goes a long way. We had to dye 5 pounds of slime green for a fall festival, and we didn’t even come close to using up our bottles of green dye. My kids now enjoy using the dye to color their slime experiments. We’ll be able to use this set for a while, since they usually don’t need more that a couple drops to color a typical batch.

No differences in a lot of colors.
I used these to color some cookies with my kids. There's 10 drops of pink, 12 purple, and 22 red. The red turned out to be dark pink, not red. The photo is very generous of the colors, and honestly after the cookies were baked there is no difference in the red and pink. It's very disappointing. As far as using for soap, the colors do not come off on your hands, and they don't make good coloring dye for bath crayons because of this. Which is a little disappointing to my kids, but not a deal breaker IMO. If you're looking to make bath crayons, don't bother with these. 12 colors, but a lot of them look the same. So I'm not sure I would get this again for making soaps. Only because the rainbow you expect just isn't there.

Kids love to colour shaving foam, and then paint the bath or shower. We also made play dough with these colours. So vibrant and easily cleaned up.

Very concentrated small drop goes a long way. Initially I placed a couple of drops and my soaps came out quite dark. So start small 1-2 drops and go up depending on how dense your soap or candle is. Good product. But could be a little cheaper
