GREAT MATTRESS - RETURNED MY CASPER MATTRESS FOR THIS ONE AND SO HAPPY I DID
When our old box spring mattress needed replacing, I admit that I bought into the whole "mattress in a box" hype (and Consumer Reports ratings) and purchased a Casper mattress. From the beginning, the Casper mattress felt cheap and too much like sleeping on a spongy slab. The Casper just seemed to not support or give in the right places and, as a side sleeper, I woke up many times with hip and shoulder pain. After a 3 month trial, I returned the Casper in favor of this Sealy Kelburn hybrid mattress. What a difference! The Sealy was only $200 more than the Casper but the feel and quality was like night and day. This Sealy Kelburn mattress has just the right give to it and is comfortable without being too soft that you sink into it. I'm glad I got the medium-firm Kelburn rather than the other firm or plush versions. I think this mattress is a good value and a good compromise compared to other box spring mattresses and all foam mattresses like the Casper. I call it my Goldilocks bed - just right!

NOT A MEDIUM SOFTNESS
Ok, so I bought this mattress as I read that it was the next iteration of the Sybil line from Sealy. It does not compare. We purchased this as an upgrade from a queen to a king on sale from Amazon. It's much more firm than the Sybil line that we loved. I didn't feel like purchasing a new mattress and returning this one as it's a huge pain, so we ended up supplementing it with a 3 in memory foam topper. The mattress has what feels like no more than 2 in of memory foam that sinks very quickly, which is not enough to let our body sink in as side sleepers, however it DOES feel well constructed, as expected from Sealy. I expect it to last a long while, but wish it was softer on it's own. Even for a king mattress, this feels like it should've been a sub $1k purchase.

Did My Research
i started looking for a new mattress about two years ago. This was a big purchase, and I took my time making a decision. I finally eliminated a "bed in a box". I have one of those in the guest room, and my guests give it good reviews. However, I didn't want to watch the bed I sleep on every pop out of a box - lol.I also wanted a coil/memory foam combo but worried about the odor from the foam. This mattress has very little. I left the window open in the bedroom for the first two days - and that easily took care of what little was there initially. Not a problem. And most importantly...it is SUPER comfortable. I would say it's on the firm side of medium, and delivers a very restful night's sleep. So far the foam is not too warm...not sure how that will be once the weather warms, but overall I"m very happy with this purchase.Update:Three years later. Still LOVE this mattress. Delivers restful sleep year round even summer. Would still recommend.

Memory Foam Failing
We purchased this mattress in 2018. We’ve never had the need to replace a mattress under ten years old, but this one hasn’t even made it to five years. The foam top is failing. It is no longer supportive at all. One part of the mattress is sagging, but overall the foam has become super soft and not supportive at all. We have been waking up with back pain for the last few months. We have filed a warranty claim, but given the parameters set in the warranty regarding sag, it is unlikely they will honor based on previous reviews of this product.

Great Mattress
First night on the new mattressIt is much harder/firmer than I was expecting. I'm 6'0" 225lbs and I get a little sink in feeling but just barely noticeable. Girlfriend (5'3" 120lbs) says it feels great. It does feel slightly cooler, we think. Also the first night below 32 degrees so maybe everything is just cold.It does give off a new mattress smell. Which is odd because it wasn't sealed in plastic. We have a ceiling fan on to help disperse the scent.Hoping after a few nights, the bed softens upUpdate 11/27/21: New mattress smell went away after a week. Bed had been broken in nicely over the past month. Has a great balance of softness and support. Getting way better sleep, never waking up in any pain. Could lay in the bed all day long.

No more aches and pain! I love it!
I’ve had this mattress for a week now and every night gets better and better. I was suffering a lot of shoulder pain, upper back pain, and hip pain before. I knew that it was time to make a big investment on a quality mattress and I highly recommend this one. There’s absolutely no transfer movement, I sleep solid all night now even if my husband tosses and turns. The mattress isn’t hot at all, stays cool all night. It’s probably my most exciting purchase as an adult in years

A+
Love this mattress! We were so excited to get this bed. It took a couple nights to get use to simply because its a new bed but it has been extremely comfortable since day one. My husband is a back /side sleeper and I am a stomach /side sleeper... This bed is a perfect compromise for two sleepers like this sharing a bed. We bought a queen size, medium/ firm. Totally recommend. Best bed I have personally ever owned.

Bad stitching!
Just unboxed. White glove delivery means put the box in your room..I thought that meant unbox and set up. Not a huge deal. I’m more worried about the 3 places where there is bad stitching and the inside layer is coming out(shown in picture). For how much I spent on this bed, I think the craftsmanship should be much better!
