Seems high quality. Has a beefy smell, but that's inherent to the gasseri bacterium. I put it in smoothies and it has made my gut calmer. I appreciate the inside of the bag has no chemical smell, which is sometimes the case with supplement packaging.

This has proven to be wonderful. The only thing I could possibly wish could be different has nothing to do with the bacteria, and everything to do with the packaging. I wish they would place the sealed opening along the length of the pkg instead of at the narrow top. It makes for difficulty getting the product out. Beyond that, I have seen success with this company in other product (l-reiteri) as well and am about to buy Los until is from them, just as Doon as I discover which strain they habe on offer

Makes delicious creamy yogurt!

Great live culture. I use it for making yogurt and it works fantastically. I seem to be reaping good health benefits from it as well.

I don't really have any way to evaluate this product besides saying that I made some yogurt with it, and it tasted like tangy yogurt. My batches have been highly separated and textured, but I take the blame for it, because I've been using a raw milk base. I use it as a smoothie base, so if it has more of a kefir texture, it doesn't matter to me. Although down the road, I would like to figure out how to make it more like pudding; I'll try pasteurized milk. They say that the second generations are more perfect. We'll see. It seemed to be a good value for the amount. I consume a fair amount of fermented things, so I didn't notice a huge difference in any kind of gut reaction. But I might not be the best test case, because i'm pretty acclimated, already, to a lot of active microbes.

Great results so far

Why did I say "pure form"? Because here's the ingredient list: Lactobacillus Gasseri HLG13. This is a great way to add 100 Billion "friends" to your digestive system! The product mixes very well and best of all it is completely tasteless! They work for me just fine. I don't know where these are made, so that's a 1/2 star deduction (if I could). The expiration date on my packet is 01/26, so I'll be using these off and on for quite some time. Highly recommend! Please consult your primary caregiver before taking these or any other supplements.

Probiotic pills help but sometimes don't give you enough of one particular enzyme that you need, this is a great way to figure out which one works for you, and to supplement by boosting the concentration of that particular ingredient. Bigger investment but with worthwhile results.
