This Cerakote Paint Coating is amazing. Easy on, easy off and it leaves hard, ultra smooth and glossy finish. I've used the Cerakote Paint Sealant for a long time. It's good, but the paint coating is noticeably better. I've only had it on the finish for a short time, but it's fairly obvious that it should last a lot longer than the paint sealant, which lasted easily for 6 months to a year. Word to the wise... Cerakote recommends waiting 5 minutes after applying the paint coating before buffing to a high gloss shine. Don't wait a lot longer! I notice a couple of spots I missed, About 24 hours later, it was quite hard to get the streaks off. I used IPA (isopropyl alcohol to remove the initial coat and applied a new coat. Fortunately, I had enough product left. It comes in two small bottles that are barely enough to cover one SUV. (I have two and needed to order a second set of two bottles.)

This stuff is great so far. It is easy to apply. I spent about 8 hours in total with wash, clay, correct, and coating. This coating was the easiest step and is easier than wax. It was my first time doing ceramic. The two bottles was enough to cover a crew cab silverado with a 6.6' bed and I had about a third of a bottle left over. We will see how it holds up but so far I highly recommend this product.

I've done a half a dozen paint corrections and ceramic coats. I've used Cquartz 2.0, 3.0, Adams Graphene and Ethos Graphene. This stuff beats them hands down. First it is very forgiving as far as wipe time. They say go till it "sweats" but even waiting a few more is still levels and wipes right off. Secondly, the finish after it's done is slicker than any before. I put a second coat on my hood 24 hours later and wiping on the second layer was like taking a block of ice and rubbing it on a warm pan. Absolutely no resistance. Tons of videos on it's water repellence and longevity, so look them up. As far as applying it it's a 10 out of 10. The depth of shine, is right on par with the others, but it has more to do with your correction technique and preparation.

In comparison to the ones I have tried it seems to hold up better, the shine is better than average, coverage is less than average, price is higher than average, and application is a little harder than average. Do not listen to the wait time on the instructions since it led to hazing or shadowing on the car if I waited the time they say to take it off. I then put it on waited a minute or two and wiped it off and it was fine. Surface prep before is like any coating the key to a great shine. Ceramics are a great option instead of waxing but be prepared for a learning curve in application and care. Once applied it makes your car look like a million bucks, and dirt and rain don't stick and actually on a dirty car the rain cleans it off. I have never gone by the time they say these coatings last and feel a easier coating applied more frequently gives better results. It is a very necessary step to have the car clean, surface prepped and even paint correction done BEFORE application of this or any Ceramic coating. Wash, clay bar, buffing if necessary, reclean paint and apply product. If you are not prepared to do this then Ceramic coating is not for you. The product does have a cure time as with many Ceramic coatings. So if you are not prepared to keep your car dry and cool for 24 hours this may not be for you either. The condition and age of the paint has bearing on this product holding up as do most of the Ceramic coatings also. If the paint is marginal no amount of surface prep is going to allow this product to work its best. All in all I like this coating but am not totally sold on it since there are many choices out there. Much of what I have said applies to all Ceramic coatings but this product does appear to give a better shine and seems to last better.

Very expensive. But out of all similar products I have ever used over the years this is the one that actually works, even after months after application. I purchased a 20 year old SUV with a roof in not so great paint shape, as most of the original clearcoat was gone. I lightly machine buffed the roof out with polishing compound then applied this professional version of their ceramic Cerakote as instructed. It has been out doors for over a year and is still shiny nice. Same results from their trim coat.

I’ve applied many coatings and have used top brands like System X. Cerakote has done a great job with this coating. I highly recommend. Easy to apply and feels so slick and nice after. You absolutely cannot beat the price too. High quality for a decent price.
