Found this item a few years ago and have been looking for it since. The nail file seems to last for ever and all other items are great. Would not use anything else, wonderful

Overpriced but my nails look better

I mainly wanted the buffer, but bought this set as the cost of the buffer and cuticle cream together was virtually the same price as the set which also includes replacement buffer pads and a nail file. The buffer is brilliant! My nails are damaged from many years of wearing acrylics, and despite not wearing them now for some 4+ years they haven't fully recovered. My nails are heavily ridged and have splits along the some of the ridge lines. They are also very dry and dull. I have used other cheaper buffers in the past from time-to-time and whilst they work to a point, none are anywhere near as effective as this Onsen buffer, which is 100% better. I used the buffer for the first time yesterday and today my nails are still super smooth and shiny and look so much healthier. I appreciate my nails aren't 'cured' as such and will likely need ongoing buffing etc., but that's fine and a price I'm willing to pay. I am very impressed with the buffer and highly recommend it for nails like mine. Even if your nails are OK the buffer is worth buying just for using the shinning side! As for the cuticle cream, although my cuticles are fine, I've rubbed it into my nails as the cream says it nourishes the nail if used regularly - I'll have to wait and see on that. The cream is light, non-greasy and pretty much disappears once rubbed it, and is pleasant to use. So, overall I highly recommend this set, especially the buffer. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but it works very well!

Almost immediate improvement! Quite remarkable improvement after first treatment. Really easy process to follow and I think this is going to finally sort my very flaky, weak nails out. Recommended

I have reviewed earlier when I first received it but 3 months on I have to say this stuff is absolutely amazing, it absolutely does what it claims it will and my nails have never looked quite so good naturally or felt quite so strong. The whites are really pink and the buffer gives them a nail polish look… it’s just amazing!

This stuff is amazing! I wish I had taken a before picture of my nails because DAY 1 they are transformed!!! After decades of wearing fake nails to hide my dry, brittle, splitting and peeling nails I decided to go natural. Well it wasn’t working they looked like hell and it’s painful when they tear and split. I’ve tried every oil, cream buffer, hardening polish and nothing worked. I happened to see this on Amazon and bought it. Ya gotta love Amazon cuz you can return stuff if it doesn’t work. Anyway I used it today and my nails drank in this nail/cuticle serum. It’s magic!!! They look so much better that throughout the day I have dabbed a bit more on and again my nails are drinking it in. This has never happened with any other cream. Buy this you will not be disappointed!!! I can’t wait to see how well this will help them grow.

I've been using this kit for a couple weeks now, and so far I really love the product.The focal point of this kit is the cuticle serum. I deal with really dry cuticles and often get hangnails. I've tried using different oils and butters to moisturize them, but I've found that they just sit on top of the skin and don't sink in/absorb, or they need to be reapplied frequently during the day. This cream is a game changer for me. The skin actually feels softer and healthier, and my cuticles don't dry out nearly as quickly. I've also noticed less hangnails. To top it off, you only need the tiniest amount of product per nail (as shown in the photo). One tube will last you forever.I love the replaceable buffer block. It isn't anything special on its own in terms of what it does; the three steps are all grits that you'd get in a cheap variety set. I find the pads to be more durable though, and them being replaceable is worth the price to me. I don't use it in the bathroom, so I can't attest to its durability in those conditions. It's important to note that buffing the surface of your nails doesn't actually improve their health or prevent breakage. If anything, it can actually weaken the nail, as buffing removes the shiny surface of the nail. It can thin your nails out if you aren't mindful of that. Onsen Secret has taken that into consideration, the directions included advise you how many seconds to buff for.I don't use the emery board. Their coarseness causes microscopic tears in the free edge, which damages and weakens your nails. Instead, I use a glass nail file. They're softer, don't drag the nail, and only require a couple swipes rather than sawing away at your nail.All that said, I highly recommend this product. The only thing that would make the set better is if it came with a glass or crystal nail file instead of an emery board.

I will continue to buy these. They put a nice shine on your nails. Much better then the rechargeable one I bought. I love this set.

I have been using this set for 2 weeks now, and although I will update later on how long-lasting it is, so far so good. I have very weak nails naturally, they are flexible and tend to flake and split from the side edges inwards, and after years of cancer treatments and a chemical menopause, they have now started to show vertical ridges. As I’m still in treatment and not allowed to use nail varnish or remover most of the time, I bought this set in the hope that it would make my nails less embarrassing! The first time I used the buffer, the visible difference was immediate: the beginnings of ridges were smoothed and the nails so shiny they looked as if I had clear nail varnish on them. The shine lasted for a week despite using the cuticle cream on it most nights, until I used the buffer tool again. The cuticle cream is easy to apply and has a light fragrance of garden herbs, and I’m really pleased with how healthy my nails are now looking 👍 In the two weeks I’ve been using the set I haven’t had any splitting or breakage, which is unusual for me but I don’t want to assume this is down to the Onsen products until I’ve used them for a longer period. The buffer surfaces are apparently valid for 10 uses (so 10 weeks if following the box instructions) and it includes a spare set.

Eigentlich wollte ich ein mir bekanntes Produkt dieser Art verschenken, aber es ist in Deutschland nicht mehr so einfach zu bekommen. Also habe ich nach einiger Suche diese Alternative gefunden und auch verschenkt. Das Produkt kam schnell und sieht aus wie auf den Bildern. Das Geschenk ist sehr gut angekommen und ich durfte auch die Nagelhautcreme mal testen. Sie ist sehr ergiebig, daher nur ganz dünn auftragen, sie ist sehr angenehm und mit feinem Duft. Zu allen anderen Punkten kann ich noch nichts sagen, ich warte noch auf Bericht.Der Preis ist erst mal recht hoch, sollte es meine Erwartungen erfüllen, wäre es angemessen.
