Strong and flavourful.
The bouillon is quite strong in flavour therefore adjustment needs to be made when using it accordingly.I like the flavour and find it quite powerful.I use it when making gravy, casseroles, stews, pies etc.

Good flavour but does contain palm oil
This 800g tub of Beef Boullion Powder will last me a while as it makes up to 50 litres of stock. It contains palm oil, flavouring, salt, beef extract (7%), flavour enhancers: monosodium glutamate, disodium 5’-ribonucleotides, yeast extract, soy sauce, rapeseed oil, carrot and spices and fits well with many of the recipes I make. It dissolves quickly and adds good flavour and it is quite versatile. I like that it is gluten free and low fat but do not like that it contains palm oil. This would stop me purchasing it when I run out as I try to avoid products with palm oil and would have avoided this one if I had realised there was palm oil included in its ingredients. I have not reduced the stars because of the palm oil ingredient as I should have noticed it.

Convenient, tasty, easy to use.
I ordered this beef bouliion powder to add to various meat dishes that I cook in the slow cooker, so far I have added a couple of tablespoons to the dishes, rather than mixing it with water first, similar to how I would have used a stock cube, this has worked fine, and the paste has disolved during cooking. This product is gluten free, and although I would describe it as more of a light paste than a powder, it was still easy to measure the required amount. The tub is an 800g tub, and I found that I didn't need to add a huge amount to get a nice, beefy flavour, so it should be able to season many more meals before I need to buy another tub.Overall its an easy to use product, it tastes far nicer than any stock cubes that I've previously used, and it should last quite a long time, it's easy to store and has a long use by date, so I'm very pleased with it, and happy to recommend it.

A great stock
This has been a great alternative to my regular product, I have used it in the same way, just adding a couple of teaspoons to my soups, stews, curries and chilli's rather than mixing it down with water first. We don't really use gravy so adding water first wouldn't really work for us as the dishes we make that need this type of product are wet enough without additional water. The stock did work really well with this method, it added a nice beefy taste to our dishes and is a product that I would purchase again in future

Use more than serving suggests
If you prepare as per instructions, i found it pretty watery so just kept adding spoonful's until desired taste - it does get to a much more richer beef flavour & only a few more teaspoons. For me, this is okay as it's already a big tub but would mean their claim of 50L would be more like 25-30L. I would still use the recommended serving if slow cooking or simmering down for example.Does contain palm oil so be aware of that - however, as a beef bouillon it is easy to prepare, tastes nice & does a great job!

Rich Sauces Beef Bouillon Powder 800g
The instructions say to mix 1L of water with 16g of product (about 2 level teaspoons).I found it a little watery that way. Using twice the amount gave a nice, strong beef flavour.I'd definitely want the second one for using with cheap supermarket mince.Despite being labelled as powder, this is more of a paste. It still mixes in with water very easily, leaving no lumps. The BBE on mine date is 16 months.

Good flavour
Good size of tub though I’ve found using more than the recommended amount is required for a good, strong flavour. Still it works out good value. Stirs in well without lumps and adds a good depth of flavour to my meat dishes.

Lovely flavour but contains palm oil
This is definitely a paste and not a powder as advertised, it mixes well though and has a lovely beef flavour. I did use more than was recommended as I wanted it a little stronger for the casserole I was making.I was disappointed to see it contains palm oil as I normally don’t buy products containing it and unfortunately it means that although I really like the product I won’t be buying any mire.
