My 8yr old granddaughter loved this sewing kit! It starts out with a super easy activity and advances to more difficult activities. The little purses are cute and usable. The sewing kits are organized in separate bags which make it easy to work on at a later time. I recommend this product.

Each of the projects are individually wrapped with several kid appropriate needles. Our 5 year old niece absolutely loved this kit and it was her first experience with sewing. (Please note that the scissors is useless and doesn't cut the thread), but this was of high quality felt and individually wrapped thread. We watched the video that demonstrated the running stitch, back stitch and whip stitch and she wanted to try them all. This would make a perfect gift for your inquisitive child. Just offer a little help with the knots, and they'll be ready to go. She was so proud of her accomplishment.

Great kit for a first time sewer. I picked this up for my granddaughter who likes to do crafts and plan to spend some time with her to assist her with completing her projects. I like that this is intended for beginners, I think the age range should be advanced to 6 or 7 year olds. You get 7 individual crafts to do which makes this a good value.

This was well planned for young girls. The designs are pretty and prepunched holes made it so much easier to sew.

It was super fun, safe, and easy for my 10 year-old. We also had our 3-year old cousin try it and he loved it. It was an overall great product and I would recommend it to anyone with kids ages 3-11

I bought this little sewing kit for my six-year-old granddaughter. The instructions were clear and the designs were very cute. I helped her get started with each little bag by tying the knot. After that, she did it all by herself. She was delighted to be able to create something for herself. I am very happy with this purchase.
