ALWAYS BUY GENUINE
I always use genuine inks for my Epsom photographic printier. Have used compatible inks in the past on a previous printer but felt, despite the cheaper price they created problems with the printer clogging etc. These cartridges last a long while before needing replacement so represent good value for money.

Epson's good quality ink
Epson inks are always good quality but very expensive. You get what you pay for but I always feel Epson charge too much for their inks. If you buy an Epson printer, bear in mind you'll always pay highly for genuine Epson ink, that's mot the sellers fault, it's Epson.

Great quality
These are expensive items.But at least you get a lot more than with most other products. Epsom really drag you once you have bought their products. Still, the prints are fantastic.

When you have no choice
Epson are good inks but very pricey. They do perform well however. I have a stylus pro 3800 which is great for up to A2 photographic printing.

Faulty chip
This New Year I resolved to have my printer repaired.I have had problems for three months with my printer but never suspected it to be the new ink that I installed in October, Not until today, that is when I removed the T5801 to inspect it. It felt empty, although the printer and PC "told" me that it was almost full.I took it to an IT specialist and also it "said" on his pc and printer that it was almost full. He said that it was most definitely empty. We believe that the chip is faulty and would like a refund please.

some people like the clones but the original works well
a very reliable result is provided by all these Epson inks and unlike the previous generations you do not get the problem of bronzing. Make sure you have got good colour matching on the camera/monitor/printer though.

Just what I wanted.
Excellent price for authentic Epson ink. This ink is getting harder to find and I don't want to get a new printer!
