Review: What a pity they changed the size & covers of the publication from the rest of the book set. - Ok, these books are for Potter fans giving background information about all things magical and this is supposed to be the next book in the series. As you can see from the photo of five of the other books (the 6th one is on its way!) it’s a bigger book then the rest which is a little annoying to say the least. My partner asked what I mean and the only way I could explain why it appears wrong is that it would be like putting a tractor tyre on a normal car - it just doesn’t feel as part of the set. Also they changed the cover style which makes it feel even more out of place in the set. The contents of the book is fantastic and that’s the only reason I’m not sending it back. Review: Not for younger children - I’m a little disappointed with this book. It was intended for a 9yr old potter fan. But the book is more like a dictionary. A-Z of the creatures & a lot of very small text & not many pictures. The pictures that are there are sketches & not in colour. This isn’t going to keep my child interested for long. The overall look & quality of the book is alright, but was also smaller than expected. I wouldn’t have bought it in a shop. Maybe better for teen or adult fans who will geek out on the info.
