Wow! So thrilled with this pony tail palm plant!!! I bought it as a housewarming gift and ended up keeping it for myself! Absolutely gorgeous with tons of bright green gorgeous leaves and a beautiful, sturdy trunk. No bugs. Arrived very well packaged with no issues! Great value, for sure. It seems like it will be really easy to keep alive in my house (I live in central California where it gets very hot in the summer and freezes at night during the winter). I keep my house at a comfortable 68-70° F during the winter and it's seemingly thriving. During the summer I keep my home in the 60s; we will see how it holds up. Seems very easy to take care of though. Thrilled w the purchase!

Even though the cardboard box it arrived in was crushed, the Amazon driver hurled it on my porch, and it was 18 degrees out, this little ponytail plant persevered! It looks great - it’s healthy and it’s a generous size. The included white pot is plastic, not ceramic, but you can barely tell. I’m so enamored of my ponytail plant that I’ve been waking up every morning and wishing it good morning like it’s a pet! Highly recommend this plant for cuteness factor alone! Worth every penny.

This plant was well packaged & looked alive in great shape when I received it. It’s a beautiful little plant, very healthy & was in a nice pot too. I am very happy with my purchase & I would buy another from this company. I’d say it would make an impressive gift for someone.❤️

I will definitely buy from Costa Farms again! My Ponytail Palm arrived in perfect condition perfectly packaged including even a warming pack for the roots. The foliage is a beautiful green with no brown spots. The trunk is thick and the plant in total is about 16 inches tall from the soil up. I plan to shop soon to see what Costa Farms has to offer next!

This plants came super healthy & so pretty. Packaging was great & it got her a day early. This plant came with not 1 leaf broke off. I am very pleased and I will definetly purchase from Costa Farms again!

The plant arrived in a sturdy box and was packaged as well as possible for a live plant. The plant arrived healthy, vibrant, and undamaged. It exceeded my expectations in both quality and size, especially considering the price. Overall, an excellent value and a great purchase.

I wrote this review earlier than I normally do to avoid a specific problem I experienced. I also sent this message to Costa Farms today, so they got the feedback directly. The first photo was on arrival, and the second photo was after 7 days from the overwatering incident on the arrival day. In the box, a general Palm care guide sheet was provided, and so I followed the instructions and gave the ponytail palm a good watering right after I set it up. A few days after that, many of the lower leaves started to yellow/brown, and the plant clearly was overwatered. After I looked it up online, it turns out that the Ponytail Palm is a succulent (not a palm) that is very sensitive to overwatering, as it doesn't need much water at all (especially now during the very beginning of spring). Costa Farms should provide plant-specific instructions in the box, and not any inaccurate instructions like the palm one provided. I ceased watering immediately after that, will let it dry out, and will water it according to accurate internet sources (like The Spruce website). As of now it's damaged, but not dead, and I'm hoping for the best as I care for it properly. It was a beautiful plant when it arrived, but I do think this issue should not have happened from the plant nursery's instructions. I will update this review if any issues occur, and if the plant bounces back from this one-time overwatering issue. I hope Coco makes it!

Very pretty plant, but shipment wasn’t great. Shipping box was smashed and leaves were sticking out and one leaf was taped to the box with the shipping tape. I thought of only giving three stars, but the plant itself is very nice! See my pics…
