Functions as intended and great looking glasses

The glasses shipped quickly and safely in a well padded box. The craftsmanship is high quality. Dishwasher safe. Sturdy. Solid. They’re great. I highly recommend.

The JBHO Premium Crystal Whiskey Glasses, Animal Imprinted Double Old Fashioned Glass are very well made, sturdy and well shaped. I love the animals on the bottom as it makes it easy to tell whose glass is whose without having to use glass markers. The glasses have a good weight and feel and are comfortable to hold and also wide enough to fit oversized ice cubes.The animals aren't laser etched into the center of the glass (with a flush glass bottom), rather they are indentations. That makes a sort of fun fingerhold on the bottom of the glass, but I'm aslo concerned that soapy dishwasher water might pool in that indentation during the rinse / dry cycle and either not dry at all or dry cloudy. Time will tell if the animal shapes are a pain to get crystal clear.My final thought is that they are quite thick as far as glasses go. I chose a few other glasses from my cabinet to compare and found that the stemmed merlot glass was 1.2mm, a juice glass was 1.6mm, and a classic pint glass was 3.7mm. These whisky glasses are 3.1mm which makes them feel closer to a "pint glass the size and shape of a whisky glass" than to a super-thin fine crystal glass. I'm asked to rate it on sturdiness which is definitely high, but I'm not sure that's a go-to quality when choosing fine drinkware.

These glasses are nice and heavy. Very masculine and sturdy. As far as giftable, I'd say highly, given the quality of each one of them.
