Parent- and toddler-approved
First, as a UX and graphic designer, I love the design of everything about the Nex Playground. Opening it was easy, and setup was understandable and easy for anyone. The onboarding was fun and creative. I wish there were more games in the catalog, but the games available were definitely worth the buy. This is great for apartment living and during the cold winter when your toddlers can't go outside; it solves many sensory issues. Keeping my kids active and keeping me in shape at the same time with a variety of creative activity games is amazing, and it makes for great family game nights. If you are looking for something fun for your kids that keeps them active, this is the buy for you. As a father of two toddlers with autism, I can honestly say this brings me back to when I had an Xbox Connect as a kid and I am happy my kids will be able to experience what I experienced. Looks good with my other systems.

Smooth gameplay for all ages
I'll start with the company and their customer service which is exceptional. Needed a replacement cord and the service I received and speed of shipping were better than any company I have dealt with in a very long time. Quick responses, super fast resolution and very friendly and informative. As for game play.... The game itself is very easy to play and the responsiveness to your body movements is very smooth. In our family we have people playing from ages 67 down to 3 and we all are absolutely loving it.Another great plus is that we live in Minnesota and the winters get very long and sedentary. This game gets the energy out for the little ones with the great selection of kids games and keeps us older adults moving with both the games and the workout routines. This little game cube provides ease of use, small and compact size and something for everyone to enjoy.I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants either themselves or their little ones to get up and get moving. It's fun exercise!

Highly recommend. A lot of fun for a wide range of ages
I was looking for a birthday gift for my 13 year old son. Somehow came across this device that I had not even heard of a few weeks ago. I read through the reviews and it sounded like something that was definitely worth a shot for a hard-to-shop for teenage boy with a limited attention span. After setting it up, but before giving it to him, I bought a playground subscription to unlock all of the games and then tested it out with my 3 other sons, ages 15, 18 & 19. It’s fun, engaging, easy to use and has a variety of games to choose from. Some of the games are definitely for little kids, you can hide those in settings if you want. But most of the games are perfect for any age. The arcade basketball is a hit around here, it’s cool to be able to compete side by side to shoot as many balls as you want in a timed period. It became very competitive complete with trash talking. I’ll take it any day over them scattered around the house on their computers. Bowling & connect 4 bounce are also really fun. There are still quite a few more games we are eager to try out, a rarity to get everyone involved in something fun. I’m extremely happy with this little cube. When the older 2 kids were young, we had an Xbox 360 Kinect. That was fun and still probably would be but it’s different in that this tiny cube has way better tracking & recognition abilities. It’s also much easier to set up, operate and get started. Personally I prefer the Nex’s game subscription that includes a variety of good (many licensed from Hasbro or wherever) games. Buying 1 new game for a PlayStation, Xbox, switch etc costs about the same as a 3 month subscription to this system and a year at $99 is about the same cost as a (new)game and a half. Sometimes those expensive new games are duds and it sucks. I never tried the subscription system to Xbox, maybe it was good, but I never saw anything listed that made it sound appealing enough to throw more money at it on top of the purchased games. The Nex adds new games monthly and shows the upcoming titles on the main menu.I highly recommend this for any age, I initially was worried it might be too young and kiddish for a 13 year old, but after actually playing with it there are multiple games for any age. I think the marketing could be a little better to reach out to a variety of age groups. Having it called a ‘playground’ with dopey background music during setup was a little off putting. But I’m very happy I took the risk. Everyone is enjoying it, including myself.

Great product, must buy!
One of the best products we have ever bought. It is geared toward families but it is also amazing for moms that dont have enough time to workout as it makes it so you can have fun with you kids and get your body moving!
