App Functionality: The Roku Smart Home app works seamlessly, allowing us to access live views and saved videos without delay or technical hiccups. Weather Resistance: Living in a region where winter conditions can bring wind chills as low as -60°F, we were initially concerned about durability. However, the doorbell has proven to be exceptionally resilient, functioning perfectly even in these extreme conditions. Room for Improvement: If we could change anything about the doorbell, it would be to add the ability to move the camera lens to the sides or have the camera automatically track the movement of whatever triggered its motion detection. A feature like this, allowing the lens to follow motion in side-to-side motions, would make the device even more dynamic and enhance its ability to monitor areas comprehensively. This device was easy to set up and use. The app provides real time notifications. It is compatible with multiple types of Android phones and even gives real time views of who's at your door. The included chime has great sound quality and lots of custom tones to choose from. Through the app you can talk to people at your door. The camera video quality is awesome.

Works well and has an easy setup. I like how it connects to all my televisions. However, I've noticed that it is missing a key feature after replacing my Ring doorbell. The Roku chime will not chime on motion detection; it will only chime when the doorbell button is pressed. At most, it can only send a notification to your selected devices when motion is detected. I've submitted a feature request to Roku, so at the very least, they could amend their automation (rule) process so that a user could set up a custom rule that, when the existing Trigger "Doorbell detects motion" is selected, the Action "Ring the Chime" is available.

Love the camera that I can also watch on my TV on Roku. I will buy more for around the House. Has good image and very accurate with the alerts and the ringtone.

If you still decide to buy it after reading this review it’s your problem. Works great until it stops letting you delete videos. It’s a common issue in the Roku Community Site. Wish I’d seen a review about it. Every submission to Roku support gets the same auto response. “Please send us a detailed issue including blah blah blah “ ! Acting as though they’ve never been contacted about it !They know it’s a problem but won’t or can’t fix it. Some people are saying it’s a way to get you to sign up for a prescription. Bunch of BS ! Apparently removing the app and reinstalling it doesn’t make it work either. Don’t buy this. It’s also a coincidence that I could delete them before my 30 day return period. Now I can’t and I’m sure it won’t store them indefinitely. It’ll be worthless at that point. FS

Please get! This camera has great picture quality, and a very long battery life. Plus, in general, I am a huge fan of Roku! Holds up to the weather. I love how great it is at catching everything that comes into it's view. And, how quick it is to notify you. Great speaker as well!!
