Forum Queen Elizabeth Dress and Crown Costume

I loved how I looked in this dress. I wish it came with a zipper in the back instead of velcro. I felt like it was going to rip open on me at some point, but it didn't. The head piece was pretty tacky, so I didn't wear. I just braided my hair with some red ribbon and shaped it into a crown. It was very hot to wear though!! It looked very nice. I wore it to the Medieval Times. I must have really looked like a queen because the knight of our section gave me the Queen of the tournament sash! What fun! It fit like a dream! My measurements are 36/37/42

Thin and costume like but worked perfectly for my daughter’s presentation on QE1. It’s now part of her little sisters dress-up box. Fair price and fit well.

Had to return but Amazon is wonderful about returns! Too small but pretty costume!

Perfect fit, very nice quality, helped my granddaughter get an Excellent mark on her 5th grade presentation.

In my younger days I worked in a theatrical costuming department. I would call this a Theatrical Quality garment. That being said, not the sewing quality of street clothing but 100% better than Halloween costuming.Now for SIZEING: My granddaughter is 4'10" tall and wears a size 6 in misses clothing. I had to put a 6" hem in both the dress and attached hoop slip. That was to be expected. The size on the package says it fits size 14/16. I would suggest it fits size 6/8/10 with no problems.

This is a great costume for the price. My 5th-grader wore it as Elizabeth I in the "living wax museum" and got many compliments. Nice quality, she and her sisters will be able to wear it for Halloween and other events for years to come.

Fit nice!

I purchased this costume to portray Queen Elizabeth.The dress is made of thin and cheapish material. The lace on the wrists and the chest was very stiff and it scratched my skin all night.The stiffness is a plus for the neck. I wore this costume for two nights in a row and never had a single problem with the collar not wanting to stand up. It behaved perfectly.The band for your hair broke as soon as i put it in my hair. The beads fell away to the side. Not a problem, I just snipped it off and wore the gold headband part.I think I could get at least a few more wears out of this costume so it was well worth the money to me.

There is a single hoop at the bottom of this dress making it look cheap (you can even see it in the photo of the dress). When I got mine, the ruff collar was bent and wouldn't hold a shape. I returned this item...not quite what I expected.
