My Confession Book

This is a great resource! My son and I did the examination of conscience together before Confession before Easter, and it was valuable and great to do together. We skipped the Adultery Commandment, as my son is 8 years old and it was not appropriate for his age (hence taking off one star). Would recommend.

My two older children have been doing confessions for quite a few years now and this little book reminded them of things they were missing to confess.

I always use this booklet as a teacher for my catechism students. It's easy to read, comprehensive, has great illustrations, is simple enough for children, but also works great for adults. Contains everything you need to know about making a good confession in a user-friendly format. Highly recommend.

With our youngest not feeling as prepared to go to confession again, this book will be a huge refresher and help

Provides a simple explanation that would probably be good for adults today as well. The newer books just don't explain it in the same way. Small size for kids and not pricey.

I like this booklet for preparing my students, (and my own children) for a lifetime habit of receiving the sacrament of reconciliation. Confession is good for the soul, someone once wrote, and I can say it sure is! This booklet gives children a clearer understand of their own faults and addresses a method for correcting those faults. Of course most seven year olds don't understand serious sin but they do know when they have mistreated a friend or parent and also know when they have been mistreated! Children need a script to follow to give them confidence and this little book does just that. It also includes a prayer section for the children to learn by heart. I have been teaching young children religious education for more than twenty years and I find this an excellent resource and addition to other textbooks.

Helpful and easy read.

This is a good guide for children to have to use when preparing for their confession. I bought it for my granddaughter's first communion and confession.
