Can highly recommend - BUB - Spice tin Masala Dabba This is a great quality item and I am really pleased with it. The stainless steel is shiny and feels strong and sturdy. The individual lids all fit beautifully. Well packaged in a nice box and would make a lovely gift. Authentic and a great addition to my kitchen.

This is a well-made and finished item - specifically to store your Indian Spices in to make it easier when cooking. It looks great on the kitchen counter. The individual spice pots each have an airtight lid with a Perspex panel - so that you can see at a glance what it contains. I particularly like the central larger pot which has a divider - so that you can put four different spices in there, or use it for a larger quantity of a spice that you use most of. I liked the fact that there were clear instructions on how to remove the protective film from all the pot lids and the main lid. It was simple. I can highly recommend purchase of this Dabba, and consider it to be selling at a great price - compared to some others on the market.

This spice tin is such good quality. I bought this as a present to my grandson who is 22 and has developed a flair for cooking and trying out new recipes. It will really last him, probably a lifetime if he looks after it so it is a lovely present. I might have to buy myself one! Very impressed.

A good dabba but the brown sticky film on the lid is a pain to remove. The small spice jars have an easily removable plastic film. Why not use this on the tin lid? I also found it difficult to remove the water from underneath the acrylic lid on the large tin after washing. Other than that you get 8 small and one large spice jars. The 4 way divider in the large jar is made from acrylic and can be easily removed. I like the fact that all the spice jars have lids so you get no spillage. There was a small dent on the tin lid on arrival but I’m not too concerned about that.

Really happy with this massala dabba. It's larger than the last one I had, which is better as there was always another spice I wanted easy access to, now I have it. Additionally having the lids on each jar is a bonus as others do not have this and I've had the issue where tin knocked / tilted and the spices became one, so you lose a little convenience but I prefer the separation aspect. Water does tend to get stuck between the metal and the clear plastic piece, so that takes a bit of effort to clear but that was the same on others as well, but can be managed. Would recommend.

I received this large size massala spice tin and despite a couple of very minor manufacturing dings to the bottom of two of the tins was otherwise in perfect condition !! The protective covering to the insides of the tin lids was a little 'fiddly' to grab initially but once I got the hand of it everything was absolutely fine and the coverings came off easily. Simply use a rounded tipped knife and gently scrape right from the very innermost seem a few millimetres (1/4"). Once you have a section large enough simply grab with your fingers and pull with uniform pressure. Simply peels off without leaving any reside at all. The reviews that state that water collects behind the lids is indeed correct (Especially the large lid) This is easily removed. I used very slight pressure at the point where the water has accumulated and cause the acrylic to move very slightly away from the metal rim.... then gently but carefully shake the lid until the majority of the liquid has been removed. Then just mop up with a towel and leave to thoroughly air dry. I actually left mine out on the side overnight to be certain no moisture was left prior to filling with spices. Nicely made item and highly recommend to any budding 'curryholic' or indeed chef / housewife that would benefit having all their ingredients in one airtight unit.

When I opened the tin the 8 individual tins were a mix of 4 different heights. There is a couple of mm between each of the different sizes which is annoying. 2x tallest,1x next, 4x next,1x smallest In addition the clear lid on the larger central tin is quite badly scratched. Compared with the clear lid on the smaller tin with the large one you can see the difference. The overall container tin and cover are fine and the quality of the product is good but the random mix of smaller containers and scuffed lid is disappointing. --- UPDATE --- I contacted the seller and they were extremely helpful, they quickly addressed the issue and sent replacement tins (all the same size) to me free of charge which was most appreciated. I've upgraded my review from 3 to 5 stars for the quick, polite and efficient response and resolving the issue.

All of the lids are scratched, the brown paper on the lids says "Mitsubishi" and is covered in what seems to be motor oil?!? One lid does not fit the pot - that one is taller than the others as well. Water gets trapped in the lids so before first use you will need to dry them for a few days after washing. Extremely bad deal for the price sadly.

Perfect size for all my spices!!! My old one would spill my spices all over the box. This spice box has lids on each container so the spices don’t spill all over the box! ! Love it wish I had bought it earlier!!

Really excited to fill with all of my beautiful spices I brought back from India. Disappointed that the large container is missing the X divider. Which limits my containers by 3. Hopefully they will send it separately.
