Bought 2 of these pots very pretty unfortunately ONE pot leaks through the bottom of the base, because of poor internal glazing.

I love my collection of violets, and I am very particular about the planters I choose. This planter is not only beautiful, but it is quite sturdy and keeps my violets happy and blooming! The clay interior of the pot makes for consistent water absorption and makes plant maintenance a breeze. The 6” size is perfect for mature violets. I do wish the manufacturer would make a smaller 4-1/2” size as well for small starter plants. One tip for beginners: please read about the care and feeding of violets. They are easy to grow with a little know-how, and they will bloom for many years with proper maintenance. I have shopped at high-end nurseries and garden gift shops but this charming planter is the prettiest and the most practical one that I have found.

Nice planters but really pricey.

It's easy to fill the outer water bowl, because the inner flower- shaped bowl is easy to grasp by the "petals" to remove.

Best for violets, I’ve bought several & can’t say how glad I am. Quality material, well worth the money. Plants are doing great & happy in these pots! Self watering pots are “best” for violets & these are perfect!

Just what o needed for my African violets. Good size and guality
