Worst mask ever , water leaking and very hard to breath with the tube ، honestly very bad quality and design

We’re newbie snorkelers and got 3 of these to go to the Keys last week. We went out to snorkel multiple times and took a special tour to see Christ of the Abyss at John Pennecamp State Park. There was a decent chop because we were six miles off shore, but these snorkels blocked the water from entering really well, and the masks barely fogged, but not at all using the diy baby shampoo defogger they had onboard the tour. My husband has a beard, so only complaint was that, due to that, the mask didn’t have a perfect suction and he’d have to dump it occasionally. They’re comfortable though for each of us and my two teens. But he did free dive a few times and didn’t have any issues with snorkel. I ordered one of each color, to keep them separate, and they sent me two of the same color, so that was frustrating, but we just labeled the bags and it worked ok. The color on the snorkels made it easy to pick out my family while snorkeling with the tour.

This mask and snorkel fits well and is water tight. For a reasonable price this was great for swimming in the pool. For prolonged use in the ocean a more durable mask might be needed but this served the purpose well!

When a friend suggested I try snorkeling on an upcoming vacation, I said “absolutely not.” I had childhood memories of the swimming pool, struggling to use a painful hard plastic mouthpiece and to breathe exclusively through my mouth. Even a nose plug didn’t help. But then I thought, I’m (much) older now. Why not give it another try? I bought this set because it was on deep markdown. It has improved my swimming experience in multiple ways. The mouthpiece is soft and comfortable . A device at the top of the snorkel keeps water out. The snorkel attaches to the mask, which fits so snugly (when adjusted) that no water gets in. There is actually no temptation to breathe through my nose. I love swimming with this. No more chlorine in my eyes. No more ineffective gasping for air between strokes. No more constantly turning my Medicare-eligible neck. I’m swimming more laps and enjoying it much more.
