I recently tried one of those expensive electronic humidors. Very noisy inaccurate and looks ugly. I gave this a try and I'm very happy. made really good. Closes and opens nicely good seal. First day i put my usual 2 cups of warm distilled water. usually takes quite a while to get the humidity up. This one was 68 by the end of the day. So i loaded up 160 cigars. i smoke 6 X 60 so i didn't expect 300 would fit. Looks nice too. Beautiful finish and style. One really nice thing the drawers have sides that go all the way up. Keeps all the sticks in place. Get one you will love it and your wife will like how stylish it is. (maybe) Final note. Some complained about an odor it goes away in a few hours just leave it open and take the drawers out.

Ultimately it works very well and reads humidity levels very accurately. It is also very nice to look at wherever you might choose to display it! Very easy to maintain. Only reason I didn’t give it a five star is because it comes smelling very chemically inside. I’ve owned other humidors before and never had this issue. Other than that very good humidor.

Only 3 stars because it came broken but was repairable. So far only 1 other review on this size, and a bunch of vine reviews on the smaller, so here's an honest review from someone who took the chance with their own money:Pulling it from the box, I was really impressed. It's beautiful, no question. Opened the door and the cedar smell was strong and unmistakable - wonderful! Fully lined inside with thick cedar, and drawers are solid. Big, but not 300 vitola big. I know, your mileage will vary based on size, but I've got 140 in mine with a healthy mix of robusto and toro, mostly between 50-60 ring, and I might be lucky to fit 20-40 more comfortably. Not a deal breaker, she's still really pretty. Door opens and closes nicely with a great seal, nicely enhanced by the magnets. Holds humidity very well with a Cigar Oasis Ultra in the bottom drawer. Hygrometer is easy to read and seems accurate. Drawers slide nice and easy, but the slats they ride on were completely detached on one side (all 5 drawers). I was not at all happy about this. I expected better at this price point, but didn't want to be bothered with a return. I'm fortunate to have the tools and skills to over-engineer it back to working order. Took me about an hour and a half. If not for this, it would've gotten 5 stars. Another reviewer had the same problem, which makes me think it might be a more widespread issue. If it's something you can overcome like I did, and don't mind the hassle, you may wish to take your chances. Otherwise, this might not be for you.
