this was a replacement . easy to install and works well. the light is just perfect.

Two bulbs came individually boxed in another bulb box, then packaged in an Amazon box. One bulb had a clear tip instead of being white like the rest of the bulb. It didn'tWork. Company sent another box of 2 bulbs immediately when I said one was defective. The replacement bulb package did not arrive in an Amazon box. Took out one bulb, tested it; returned the defective bulb (marked as such) and the un-used bulb. Light is bright, with extra bulb available. I broke the original bulb that came with the lamp when I dropped the lamp on the floor. I am prepared for the next accidental event with the lamp. I recommend the company and this type of light bulb. It held up well in being shipped in only the original packaging. They care about protecting their product.

I took a chance on this bulb, and I’m happy I did. It fit my older lamp perfectly and lights up just as bright as the original—Replacing it was super easy since my lamp is designed to allow the bulb to be inserted from either the front or back—no hassle at all.The 2-pack arrived in a small manufacturer's inner box, which was then inside the Amazon shipping box. Honestly, I was a bit worried when I picked it up off the porch because I could feel the inner box shifting inside. But when I opened the manufacturer’s box, the packaging inside was very secure, and the product was undamaged. Adding some packing paper or cushioning might help prevent movement and potential damage during transit, as noted in some negative reviews. Just started using this bulb. Overall, it is a great value and is easy to install. The seller has a great return policy, and I’m hopeful the bulb lasts the full 10,000 hours as advertised!Note: You'll hear a clicking sound when the bulb is inserted properly. I found these simple directions which helped with replacing the bulb--and this bulb fit without any issues.How to replace the bulb (for a full spectrum lamp without an outer diffuser attachment)Step 1:Gently pull one of the clips aside and carefully lift up and remove the old bulb. Avoid pulling it forcibly to prevent damage.Step 2:Insert the new bulb into the socket. Push it back into the two clips and ensure it is fully seated by pressing down until you hear a click. When properly installed, there should be no gap between the base of the bulb and the lamp head.

This did fit in my lamp and as a replacement it is fine. The only thing is it is a bit loose and I have to occasionally push it back in. I did not have to cut anything off as others have done to make it fit. I'm glad I ignored some of the negative reviews. The price is right.

The item came on time. There are two bulbs in a box. It was a little tricky to take the old bulb off because it’s been in the lamp for years. But replacing It was as easy as plugging the new bulb back on the bulb slot. It was just as bright as the old bulb.
