G24PS20K2 Cordless 24V Pole Saw (with battery)

This is a very useful tool and I love the idea that you can use the same batteries and chargers for all the other Greenworks ones. They don't let me down and I wouldn't be without this one as it saves me a small fortune in tree surgeon visits

Really great! does exactly what it says. Super easy to put together and dismantle for storage (although a storage bag would be good to keep it all together) fairly lightweight and easy to use. Battery lasts much longer than expected, 25 mins of Sawing Leylandii and there was still battery life, impressive! My only complaint is that the newer style battery doesn't work with older Greenworks tools, but I will take that because of the longer life newer battery. All in all, a great Saw, takes on most Garden Sawing jobs easily. Im happy with it.

Robustly made and effective performance but needs a sizeable operator to handle the extended weight. Had to get guidance from experienced user to set chain tension as manual does not make it clear where the screw is. Overall pleased with purchase - reasonable price.

Great item. Not heavy my mum can use it easily. Cutts well and battery stays charged well.

I'd never used a pole saw before but needed to get one due to the trees getting out of hand. Was worried that Amazon delivery van wouldn't be able to get down the lane!! Bought this as it was a good price and also that I have Greenworks batteries from my other two Greenworks devices- a lawnmower and blower. Simple to put together, add a little oil as lubrication for the chain, plug in the battery and get to work It made short work of the branches and job actually took less time than I though it would. Device itself is sturdy and has a 3 year warranty. My other Greenworks devices are still going strong after a number of years so expect this to be as well built. Overall I'm very happy with it, does the job and saves me time.

I struggled to put it together when i got it, its quite heavy and because of its length its a bit unweildy. Because of personal reasons i was unable to try it out until this summer. Firstly the oil wouldnt flow down into the chamber, even when i checked there wasnt an air lock. So the oil spilt over the paving stones. Im glad i didnt do it inside the house. I had to get someone else to join the sectiong together because they were so stiff. We had to use a Boa gadget to grip the poles in order to tighten them. No quick fix. Then i tried adding the battery, which i had already charged up. Nothing, not a flicker, no sign of electricity flowing. I ried to charge the battery a bit more in case it had gone flat. Nothing, no lights to show anything was workin. Because nothing was working. Neither charger nor battery. I cant see a trio switch or anything and i tried different sockets. But it just doesnt work. Then i tried looking online for my receipts, but my internet connection was down. And so its gone on! So ive no idea if its good at what it does, but its certainly very heavy !

When it works it's great 👍 but unfortunately we've replaced the charger and it worked once more but no more so bought a battery ,worked great again ,now it's not working again ! For a garden tool that is great it's let me down ,unless I've just been unlucky !

I like Green works products, they are high quality and never had a problem with them. I took it straight out of the box and cut my eucalyptus tree. Sharp and was easy to use. Recommend Green works as trusted garden tools

J'ai acheté d'occasion cette "Greenworks Élagueuse sur perche sans fil sur batterie 20cm 24V Lithium-ion (sans batterie ni chargeur)" - ,à un prix bradé au tiers du prix de base . je n'avais pas l'attention d'utiliser des batteries lithium-ION pour la faire fonctionner ,mais une alimentation 24V ( 10Amp) externe alimentée par le secteur .En effet ,tous les appareils alimentés par des batteries li-ION ,manquent de puissance ,et les batteries ,très chères ,ne durent pas longtemps ( indépendamment du coût écologique pour la planète ,d'extraction du lithium = voir les voitures électriques que l'on veut nous faire acquérir ,alors que le super éthanol , agro-carburant ( mais vraiement pas bio!!) est disponible [ fin du débat!] )... .bref ,ça marche très bien,et pas de batterie à recharger tous les 1/4 d'heure !!! N.B = il y a un circuit imprimé avec microprocesseur ( pour protéger sûrement la batterie si on l'exploite trop à fond =CQFD !! donc y aurait - il des pbs avec batteries probables, pour ce circuit inutile avec alimentation directe ? !!! ) dans le manche en coupure de l'alimentation du moteur 24 V de la tête découpe = câbler un fil pour le strapper ,et plus aucun problème,hormis le fil d'alimentation secteur à la patte .. $ à bons entendeurs des utilisateurs ,à tors et à travers des outils "portatifs" sur batteries ( préférer un bon moteur thermique : essence 2 temps !!qui sait : super-éthanol dans le futur ??? ) ])

Ancora usato per pochi tagli, da terra, su rami di ulivo e sembra che fa il suo lavoro perfettamente, tagli netti e puliti, l' ho comprato, più che altro, per la pulizia e potatura di piccoli alberi da frutta, per adesso tutto ok

Me encanta esta marca. Buenos productos, que de vez en cuando ponen en oferta. Las baterías son compatibles entre ellos, así que fenomenal. Esta lanza en concreto funciona muy bien. La he usado para podar unos 5 árboles bajos y ramas de roble en bastante altura y puede con todo. Eso si, gasta mucho aceite para la cadena, pero corta de maravilla.

Genial este aparato. Ya tengo otras herramientas de greenworks, y todas me han dado muy buen resultado. Este aparato es genial porque pesa muy poco y corta rápido y bien. Para podas domesticas lo recomiendo sin dudarlo, eso si, hay que tener siempre 2 baterías (no vienen incluidas) y mientras usas una vas cargando la otra.
