So I bought the pod originally on Amazon and after less than 2 weeks, it’s stopped working. While it worked, it did an amazing job on my retainers. They looked newer than new 😆 So I contacted customer service and let me tell you Lucy did an AMAZING job!! She took care of my issue and made sure it was resolved and followed up to make sure I was satisfied with the resolution. The product works great, the customer service is even better so I greatly recommend the Zima pod and don’t worry if you run into an issue, Lucy and the customer service team will take care of you!

The Zima Dental Pod is a great device to clean your mouth guard or retainer and provides a very thorough clean. It's easy to use, you fill it with water, add a fizzy tab, pop in your retainer, and push the button. Post clean can be a bit difficult, as I noticed with the Zima Dental Pod, when you go to drain the water, droplets may get in the bottom of the device or power outlet. This unfortunately is what happened with mine most likely and resulted in it not working after 1 month of usage. However, the Zima Dental customer care team were incredibly kind, responsive, and empathetic to my situation and provided me another one to replace it. I ended up receiving a Zima Dental Pod PRO for my troubles and highly recommend it as it has a better design where the base is bigger and droplets of water aren't as likely to drop into danger zones while cleaning. Lucy who was the care rep that took care of me is phenomena! One of the kindest and supportive customer reps I've ever had, she has made my entire journey painless when I was on the brink of not even wanting to reach out believing nothing would be done...But she and Zima Dental has proven me completely wrong. I really appreciate all Lucy has done, from her kindness and follow up at each step, ensuring everything was handled with care. From one Customer Service Agent (IT Support Analyst) to another: Keep her on your team, give this girlie a raise and promotion! She is an absolute asset to you and deserves it. And to anyone on the fence about buying a Zima dental pod, do it! I love mine and enjoy my morning ritual of cleaning my retainer and knowing it's ready for the night!

Good device, take a little while to figure out the right amount of pressure for the power button. It is strangely difficult to turn on at times. The pod works well though not the miracle-worker - older stained trays will not become clrystal clear despite the social media ads. The first pod I received was deffective, but the customer service was terrific in handling the problem and sending the replacement promptly and efficiently. Very imperssive by the service.

5/5 stars for warranty and customer support. 5/5 for cleaning effectiveness. 5/5 for ease of use. 2/5 for durability. I used the Zima Dental Pod for 3 months. It's effective in cleaning my invisalign aligners and very easy to use. This device does have a design flaw. It can break if water enters its charging port. But since using the device requires refilling it with water every time, it's hard to avoid getting water in. After 3 months of regular use, this device stopped working for me. However, Zima's warranty support was fantastic. They were very responsive and shipped me a new Dental Pod Pro device as a replacement. This device has an updated design that does not make it as vulnerable to water messing with its circuits. Based on my experience I recommend the Zima Dental Pod Pro model as it will likely last longer. Zima seems to be an upstanding company that cares about its customers and backs up their warranty. And the product works.

Great product. Has really cleaned up some old nightguards/retainers that I had that were stained. Also very attractive on my countertop. I have been on the fence for several months now about ordering one of these due to the price as there are a lot of less expensive alternatives. I also wasn't sure if I should get the original pod or the pro pod. I'm glad I got the basic one - it is a nice size and holds my retainers just fine. Don't hesitate to get this - they are worth it.

The product works really well. I thought that using the tablets that I had been using for years were enough. Even without a tablet, placing the item inside the cleaner which is tapwater and running the vibration sequence seems to do a better job than using a tablet and just putting it in water as I have in the past. But the real game changer is when you use a tablet with this device and the vibration feature your retainer comes out looking crystal clear every time and you can tell. Only downer is it is pretty pricey, but hard to argue with results. That is a much Cleaner way to clean your retainer. I would highly recommend this product.

Worth every penny. At first I was hesitant because of the price, but it has honestly made my life easier. I used to spend a lot time brushing and cleaning the gunk off my retainers. I did notice they were starting to get scratched and the gunk would get stuck in them even more. With this cleaner, the retainer look new every time and no more gunk is left. It’s fast and easy to use. I would definitely recommend it.

Does a good job when it works. Customer service is excellent. Lucy is very responsive. I originally purchased the dental pod in July 2025. It worked every day until early 2026, about 6 months. Then one day it would not turn on. I put in a warranty claim and received the Pro version as a replacement. It did not turn on out of the box. I filed a claim and received a second one. Turned on once. The third replacement has been working for a month. These applianced are GREAT when they work and frustrating when they stop. But customer service (LUCY) is always responsive, concerned and helpful. The units are attractive and sleek. Overall, it takes a little perseverance to get a reliably functioning one, but when they work, you've got a good solution for keeping your retainers clean.

Although it seems expensive, this product was definitely worth it for my retainers. They provide 6 capsules that have lasted me 5 ish months since I don't always need them (only for a deep clean) and it only takes 5 minutes to clean my retainers.

Only had this for a very short time but I was very impressed with the clean design and very simple one button operating functionality, which to me conveys a well thought out quality product. It certainly is cleaning my dentures very nicely so far! Filling, emptying and cleaning the bath are all very easy too The presentation and storage box are almost as much of a work of art as the product!
