Easy to use and effective.

Really good product, I was struggling to light my fire and getting it to stay lit was a challenge, the heat output on the flue thermometer was pretty low, I used 2 sachets a day for 7 days and I'm just about to order another box for maintenance once a week, my fire now lights with ease and is roaring in no time the temperature has gone up to double the heat output it was before and I am once again able to reduce the airflow to let it tick over all day (saving logs) rather than having it fully open and getting no heat, I was sceptical at first but will definitely be using them regularly from now on.

This is pretty expensive stuff, given you're meant to use one sachet a day for several days in a row. I must admit to not following instructions diligently. I used a sachet every 3 or 4 few days for a week or so, at the beginning of the burn season. Does it do anything? Well, the flue didn't go on fire last winter... but then again, it didn't go on fire the previous winters either. So who knows? With a lot of "preventative" things like this, you're just easing your conscience and hoping you've done your bit to avert future calamity.

Really great product

I wasn’t particularly impressed but maybe the burn would be poorer without it. I’ve never used any other kind so I can’t compare.

The sachets are simple to use, and the product greatly reduces soot and tar build-up in the chimney. Vastly reduced amounts of soot/tar when the chimney was swept. Great product thank you.
