I’m a nerd, so I ironed on some NASA patches to make it look like a space suit.My husband and I began keeping bees this year, and I wanted accessories of my own so we could tend the bees together. For less than the cost of just his suit, I was able to get my own suit and many accessories.Are all the pieces high quality? No, but it’s a good starting point.Areas of improvement: The kit came with zero instructions or explanation on what all the pieces are for. The pieces are labeled within the product photos, but more info would’ve been nice.Notes: As a new beekeeper, these are my observations. I’ve found the suit and gloves to be great for the job. I recommend wearing a ball cap under the hood to keep the screen off your face. This helped a lot with my comfort. Also, if you’re concerned about stings, wear boots, or at least long socks. The ankle is cinched, so while the suit does cover my ankle, there is exposed skin between the bottom of the suit and the top of my sneaker.Time will tell on the quality and usefulness of the rest of the kit, but for around eighty doll hairs, I’m happy with the value so far.

All items seem of quality material, I use the suit, hive tool, frame holders, and smoker each time I check the hive. Would recommend.

Product was of average quality may be for single use, not for long term use or repetitive use. Place where gloves meet with long sleeve from shirt is prone to open causing angry bees to enter and bite. Nose and chin edges are not protected well from bees. For a new user it is an apt product, accessories are handy. Need to add a vacuum to suck out all bees and relocate.

I have been keeping bees for about 10 years so I already have most of these tools. However, if you are new to beekeeping and want a great all in one starter kit, this is it. I was massively impressed at the selection this provides, most starter kits are much more basic and missing most of these tools. This includes everything you need except the hives and bees.Decent bee suit too. I’m pretty frugal and just have a small apiary so I usually stick with these basic suits, if you were working bees all day these might not hold up, but most of my cheap suits have lasted me years with only needing them a handful of times per season.All in all this is a great kit to get for yourself or someone just getting started with beekeeping.

Get a ton of stuff for the price, for a newbie it would have been nice to have a list or description of what everything was for

I'm new to beekeeping. I dint even own bees yet, still in the getting supplies phase of this adventure. But everything looks solid. No broken pieces. Nice durable storage bag. Comes with everything I've been looking into buying.

A great kit with lots of tools. The smoker had no fuel. I think that is an oversight for a starter kit.
