Super quiet !
I was very happy with how quietly it operates. Nice consistent water flow. I love the little window so i can see when water is getting low. Also light doubles as a night light. LOL

Kitties approve
The reason why I decided to purchase this because of the stainless and the benefits of this material. My old cat water fountain was a cheap plastic one which ticked all the boxes but I noticed some soreness under one of my cats chins and after some research it was linked to cats drinking from plastic bowl/fountains which causes this irritation. The window is also a big bonus with the blue light which I assume it attracts the cats at night.Bad points... Only came with one set of filters which is predicted to last two weeks.

Water you like?
- Review for Petbank Cat Water Fountain for Drinking - 108oz/3.2L Stainless Steel Cat water Fountain with Quiet Pump, Water Shortage Protection and Water Level Window - Water Fountain Filters & Filter Cottons || Price: ££36.99 (at time of ordering) -This is my second cat fountain. I put a lot of research into the first, and have been reasonably happy with it despite making some compromises to make it more affordable. I'd wanted a stainless steel one, and was very happy when the opportunity came up to test this.My first observation was that it's much noisier than my other. Not the water stream - that is actually pretty silent, where my other tinkles away - but the motor. It makes a distinct humming sound, that in terms of decibels is likely minuscule, but the constant drone of it quickly gets on my nerves. It is a shame, as in every other way this fountain is brilliant: 😻 My cats love the high tap, it's closer to a real tap and they drink from it more than they did the other. 😻 It has a nice big capacity and I don't need to fill it nearly as often. 😻 Stainless steel is much healthier than plastic, and it feels like the water stays fresher for longer. 😻 It is easier to clean than my other one, it doesn't get as scummy. You do need a bottle brush though. 😻 The filters are very affordable at £10 for six months worth. If the motor was silent like my other one, I would gladly give this five stars. It's a shame it only comes with one filter too, as most seem to come with at least one spare. Aside from that, it's a trendy and well designed fountain that the cats (and dog!) prefer to drink from. Recommended.

Good
Good size water fountain. Since I got it for my cats, they drink so much more water. They much better prefer flowing water rather than in the bowl. It took a day or two for my cats to adapt and get use to it, but they love it now. It's massive capacity and to be honest I only need to top up water weekly for them. Before, I've had to replace water in a bowl every morning. It's super easy to clean, I just pop it in the dishwasher once a month. Excellent value for the price. Would absolutely recommend!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cat Water Fountain
Made of stainless steel, this has something of a utilitarean feel to it but should still look good and not out of place in most modern houses. It does come with a 5 watt power supply the size of a UK plug. and setup is pretty easy, just inserting the spout and filters really.During operation the pump is quiet with the only noise coming from the spout landing on the top surface. This isn't loud but it is audible especially in a quiet environment. The biggest problem for me is living in a hard water area, appliances develop a layer of scale after being shown the water, even after filtering it. This being made of steel will develop a layer of scale really quickly that will be very visible so will need cleaning frequently.

Wish I chose a different fountain
The media could not be loaded. There is so many stainless steel cat fountains for sale. I went with this because the pump and internal parts looked easy to remove, keep clean and wash. It also has the night light and red running low light.I just wish it was quieter. It only came with one filter and mesh. They don't look as good as some other filters I've used in previous fountains that I've owned. Other fountains for sale on here come with 3 or more filters to be starting with too. This only has one. Its a tenner extra straight away to stock up. That makes this fountain almost £50. Rip off.I had to leave a stationary bowl of water next to this , just so I could keep an eye out to see if my cats were actually using it. Took a few days but they finally started drinking from the top. They seem to like it, but then anything is better than stagnant water. If your cats like to drink from the kitchen tap, this is a good design for them. I wish it would of had a little brush to clean the spout. Theres no good way of cleaning in there. Its long and bendy...Im sure you can buy one, but again. Theres other fountains available that come with it This extra price it should of imo. I totally rushed in. I didnt take any of these points into consideration when choosing!!!. I don't want you to make the same mistake as I have!!It works, nothing special. 3.2 litres so it will last a while. Although I like to change the water atleast every other day.Ive niw returned this fountain. No question asked. Collection arranged for the day I wantedSooo I'm still on the hunt for a different fountain, perhaps one with back up battery, better filtration, different spout options, extra filters and brush. Quieter motor. Under 30 decibels, this one is 40+...I had a Catit Pixi fountain before this, but the plastic top had got full of Limescale buildup and the pump eventually went out after more than a year though. However, my cats did seem to drink much more water from that one. They sell Catit Pixi in stainless steel though. I might just get that one. They are really cute too. Different colours.I dont recommend this fountain unfortunately, keep scrolling. Find one with better filters atleast.Hope this helps.

Big but good
The media could not be loaded. It took a while but the cat has finally used it. Works off 5v 2A without issue so fairly low power. Build quality seems decent but it is quite big - could probably be half the size. Fairly quiet so not an issue to have it on all the time.

Cats love it
My cats love the fountain. It's easier to clean than previous plastic models. Still a little confusing with just picture instructions, but manageable. Very quiet. Love the light that signals low water. Best cat fountain yet.

Payback Cat water fountain
This fountain is great! Easy to assemble and very quiet-actually silent. I kept putting off getting one because there’s so many to choose from. I made the right choice, it works so well and is very nice looking.

My cats love it!
I like that this fountain has a big window to see the water level. I LOVE that I can wash this in the dishwasher and that I don't have to fill the water dish as often anymore. I also really appreciate the quietness of this product. I did notice that when the water level is getting low, it makes a little noise like it's trying hard to pump the water, but the red light/ low water indicator never appeared. It has been a steady blue light.

Simpler than the usual fountain, and my cats are going for it
I have been trying and comparing different water fountains for my cats, as two of them are 15 years old with medical issues that make hydration really important. Fortunately, they both like to drink water, but the bowls can get drained and dirty really quickly, and I always want them to have fresh water - thus, fountains instead of just water bowls. They are attracted to the sound of running water, as most cats are.So, first the pros: The fountain is really quiet. Silent except to hear a quiet water flow if your ear is next to it. Water doesn't gush out of the faucet; and it runs continuously. I have this fountain next to another fountain that comes on when the cat approaches, which one cat likes but scares the other. So I like the fact that it flows continuously, but flows quietly and gently.Another pro is that it is so much simpler than most fountains. Pretty much the basin, the lid, the faucet, and a simple filter without a lot of crevices and parts that collect debris. That I can throw it in the dishwasher is a HUGE plus. I haven't needed to seriously wash it yet since I just got it, but that was a big draw for me.It wasn't complicated at all to put together, won't be complicated to take apart when it's time to clean; the only downside is having to take the pump apart when it's time to clean it. I don't have feedback on that yet since it probably only needs to be done monthly, but having taken many pumps apart to clean, I don't suspect it will be that hard. And, what are you going to do . . . all pet fountains have pumps. The ability to see the water level without having to lift the lid is great. The fountain can be filled without removing the lid - just pour water into the "sink" - and a red light comes on if you don't notice that the water level is low.The biggest pro for this fountain is that my kitty with chronic kidney disease immediately started using this fountain - and she doesn't use the other one right next to it.On the con side - nothing that doesn't have a potential remedy other than uncertainty whether the price is worth it since I have no idea what replacement filters will cost. When the cost of replacement filters is not written into the price of the fountain, it's hard to say. At the time that I ordered this fountain, I didn't see any filters available nor are they mentioned anywhere in the description. I still don't see the filters on the posting, but this fountain is new (Vine review), so hopefully they will become available. There is absolutely nothing in the manual about changing the filters or WHEN to replace them. Since they are rinse-able, I guess that is my solution for now.I recommend to the manufacturer - as I always do with new pet fountains - a replacement filter set should really be included with the purchase. No one wants to have to buy a new fountain and then have to purchase a filter set in a few weeks. It's a nice courtesy when the manufacturer includes replacement filters with the original purchase (and any cleaning tools like pipe cleaner when it comes time to clean the pump).Lastly, the only other con is, as others have said, the instructions are pretty sparse. If you have never used a pet fountain before, it will be a struggle to understand how to put this together and use it. I did examine the instruction sheet pretty carefully and it left a lot to figure out.A manufacturer video would be helpful if the instruction sheet isn't sufficient.HOWEVER - even with the cons, I give this a 5 because the cats are using it, and it's simple. The only way I might down score this is if the filters turn out to be expensive. If they are inexpensive, then the price point for this fountain is reasonable enough.

Perfect for my Cat!
My silly cat likes to play in his water, so I've been trying to find something that will work for him. I thought a fountain would be the perfect answer because the water is always moving. Nope, he still had to play in the water, making puddles all over the floor and emptying the water within a day or two. The first fountain I bought for him did not have an automatic shut-off, so when the water got low, the pump would just continue to run. I was afraid that it would burn out if I didn't notice it fairly quickly.I ordered this fountain because it does have an automatic shut-off. Of course, my cat did not cooperate - he hasn't played in his water (MUCH) since I started using this one. While that is nice, and I'm hoping it lasts, I didn't get a chance to test the automatic shut-off until at least a week after I gave this fountain to him. I will not complain about that. I filled the fountain all the way up, and it lasted an entire week. That means I can safely leave my cat home alone for a few days, and he'll be fine. The water level finally got low enough that the pump shut off, so that works perfectly. love the window in the front that lets you keep an eye on the water level, as well as the blue/red light indicator. I probably won't let the water level get that low in the future because the fountain does get noisier when the water level gets low, but it's good to know that the pump will shut off automatically if I'm not around.I'm still hoping my cat won't start playing in this one like he did that last one. He does tend to get his head wet because he sticks it under the faucet, but we can live with that.
