Quite lovely!
This is a lovely cream and it leaves a very light silky coating on the skin. The jar is a good size and the small applicator paddle is a hygienic way to apply the cream. I love the smell as it is both floral and fruity, but not overpowering. It made my skin feel smooth and silky. I shall certainly use up the rest of this jar and then I will pray for a replacement! It has been formulated by a Harley Street plastic surgeon Yannis Alexandrides.

The pot looks lovely and I like the applicator
I've been using this for a few days now and I'm enjoying it. The pot looks lovely and I like the applicator, which means no dipping of fingers into the cream! It looks and feels high end.The cream itself doesn't smell amazing, but after a moment you smell nothing anyway. It goes on smoothly and sinks in quite quickly, and does leave my skin feeling quenched. The anti ageing effects are yet to be seen, though I'd imagine I need to wait at least a month for that!

Expensive and flawed
Nice packaging with good quality applicator included, which while a nice touch doesnt work very well and there's no recess for it. The cream itself needs to be massaged into the skin otherwise you end up with a shiny skin. It doesn't contain spf so good news for those susceptible to spots. Other thinks to be aware of is that although it doesn't contain paraben its third biggest ingredient is palm oil, which might not suit everyone. All in all it does feel nice and helps make skin feels hydrated...but does prevent the look aging.... Of course not!

No effect
After almost 3 weeks there is no improvement to report in skin which has permanent fine lines and deep crows-feet when smiling. The product has no info on how often to apply or how many times a day or for how long, but this has been used twice daily. It has a thin consistency, more like that of a cleansing lotion and is applied using a tiny spatula to smear over the skin. Although awkward to use it’s probably the best way to make the most of the product rather than wasting it on the fingers. It has a slight perfume with a bitter undernote and leaves the skin shiny, slightly sticky and unsuitable for application of make-up.Not recommended.

Very nice and no issues with foundation !
Lovely packaging with an expensive looking glass jar, but at £150 a time I wouldn't expect anything less!Nice consistency for a day cream, but left a sheen that looked a bit "waxy". I worried that foundation would 'drag', but it went on like a dream.I can't comment on any "anti ageing" effect as 1 jar obviously isn't enough to judge it on.

Hydrogenated palm oil?
I am always a bit dubious about sensational claims by cosmetic firms. This Day Cream has been "inspired by space research and the well being of astronauts".....I was a bit disappointed to see that it contains hydrogenated palm oil as this is an ingredients that many people try to avoid using because of environmental issues. Also it does not offer any sun protection. However it feels very good when massaged into the face and works well as a base for foundation. But it does take a couple of hours for that greasy feeling to disappear. I have been using it every day and it certainly works well as a moisturiser. It comes in an attractive purple pot with a silver lid.At this stage I can't say that it is good value. It is very expensive and so far seems not better than other products I have used that have cost much less.

Greasy and overpriced - might make a better night cream?
I love to be given the chance to try and review new products and the jar is certainly beautiful - it's a shame that it turned out to be the best thing about this skin cream. Mine sat on my dressing table for a while waiting for its turn after my usual day cream was used up, and I was eager to see how something that cost roughly 25 times as much would perform. The scent is very faint, almost unnoticeable - I didn't find it either pleasant or unpleasant. The cream has quite a thin consistency - more a lotion than a cream, really - and feels very oily greasy as it goes onto the skin. I've tried to use the little scoop/applicator as directed, but don't find it of much help. I suppose it's more hygienic than sticking your finger directly into the pot, but once you've applied some to the skin, fingers are a lot more use as massaging tools.I've used creams before that feel very greasy initially but quickly sink into the skin, leaving it feeling dewy and refreshed. This doesn't. It seems to stay on the skin surface for hours as an unpleasant oily film, especially in places like the underneath of the skin and the sides of the nose.I don;t use foundation on my skin during the day if I can help it, just eye make up, but I'd imagine adding a base or a blusher to this film wouldn't be overly successful. For that reason - and the fact that it doesn't seem to contain a sunscreen/SPF, it might actually be better used as a night cream to be cleansed off in the morning or even a special once-a-week treatment for dry skin. So far I haven't noticed any massive improvement in the look or feel of my 59 year old skin, but hope springs eternal. The box makes all kinds of claims about development by plastic surgeons - apparently it evolved from a product used to minimise scarring after surgery - and "space age" formulas, but I remain unconvinced , especially at this price. I'm sticking to my usual £5.70 day cream for now.
