Great for Sensitive Skin
This moisturizer is a godsend for my easily irritated skin. It goes on smoothly, feels super gentle, and doesn't leave any greasy residue. Huge plus for sensitive skin folks! However, I docked a star because the hydrating effects seem to fade a bit quicker than I'd hoped. For someone with drier skin, you might need to reapply throughout the day. That being said, if you have sensitive skin and are looking for a calming, fragrance-free moisturizer, this is definitely worth a try!

smelled bad
I really was hoping this would work for me but it made me itchy. I thought this was going to be fragrance free but it wasn't. It gave old lady smell. It lasted so long too.

An effective moisturizer, though not an appropriate product for some people
I like to change up my skincare products regularly. Doing so reduces the unknown, long-term risks of certain chemicals (as ingredients lists vary) while also enabling me to find new favorite products. I have combination, semi-sensitive skin, and though I am no longer an adolescent, staving off acne still requires regular effort and commitment. Skincare products are an essential element in this. My "good finds" save me time, money, and frustration -- the "bad finds" exacerbate the situation rapidly. This is the mentality with which I am reviewing this product, and the reason why my review goes into inordinate depth on certain topics. With that warning in mind 🙃, let me get to the review.Getting started with this product took me a while because I try to be consistent in reading the packaging for cautions, instructions, ingredients, etc., and part of the package is in Korean. I used an OCR translator, and pictures of the box and of the translation are included.I noticed some disparities between the ingredients found in the Korean version and in the English version, and I spent a very long time (needlessly, it turns out) trying to find the proper names for the listed chemicals (there are so many!) so that I could check for anything salient (either fantastic or horrific). Here is the revised list of chemicals that works with most chemical lookup sites I've found:purified water, glycerin, methyl propanediol, hydrogenated C6-14 olefin polymers, dimethicone, Neopentyl Glycol Diheptanoate, betaine, caprylic/capric triglyceride, Cyclopentasiloxane, polyglyceryl-3methylglucose distearate, yam root extract, polysilicone-11, cetyl alcohol, Juniperus Communis Fruit Extract, Piper Methysticum Leaf/Root/Stem Extract, centella asiatica extract, Panax Ginseng Berry Extract, Seaweed extract, hydrogenated lecithin, argan kernel oil, sodium hyaluronate, Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate, pentaerythrityl distearate, glyceryl stearate, polyacrylate-13, polyisobutene, squalane, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, polyquaternium-51, Meadowfoam Delta-Lactone, ethanol, tocopheryl acetate, glycosyl trehalose, isononyl isononanoate, polyglyceryl-10 stearate, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, allantoin, hydrogenated starch hydrolysate, Xylitylglucoside, raffinose, biosaccharide gum-1, cetearyl alcohol, stearic acid, shea butter, Polyglyceryl-2 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Disodium EDTA, Sorbitan Isostearate, Anhydroxylitol, Laureth-12, Lecithin, Xylitol, Butylene Glycol, Panthenol, Beta-Glucan, Inulin Lauryl Carbamate, Folic Acid , disodium stearoyl glutamate, ceramide NP, cholesterol, tromethamine, palmitoyl pentapeptide-4, PEG-100 stearate, polysorbate 20, fragrance, 1,2-hexanediol, phenoxyethanol , ethylhexylglycerin, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, benzylbenzoate, limoneneI later discovered a service that is far more dynamic in being able to infer what the ingredients are based on what is provided, which matches the salient points of the above list. This is what provided much of the information for the other images, which include a table listing the following:-Ingredient name-What it's used for-A ranking of its tendency to cause irritation and comedones (acne), respectively-A generalized ranking of how "good" the ingredient is ("Icky" being a not-so-great ingredient)As you'll note from the table, there are a number of "icky" ingredients, as well as several irritation-causing and acne-causing ingredients. To provide some perspective before I continue, this is not uncommon in skincare products, and the table does not reflect the amount of each ingredient that is in the product (which will obviously impact the amount of any effect produced). With that being said, I'd also like to point out that most of the icky ingredients are used for the purpose of fragrance which, while it can be a pleasant feature, is far from the top of the list of most-essential-characteristics for the products I use on my skin. Read the included description of the chemical butylphenyl methylpropional (see photos) and ask yourself, is a nice floral scent valuable enough to include this ingredient?Exacerbating matters is the fact that I'm am far from fond of the scent. While I am a bit particular about scents (anything too strong is nauseating to me if I can't escape it after a while), flowers usually smell wonderful to me. This "floral" scent, however, hits me more like potpouri, and does not match up in my olefactory memory to any particular flower (or combination thereof) that I've encountered. It's more like the chemical stunt-double of flowers: you know who/what it's supposed to be because the resemblance is there, but something just isn't quite right. And the smell has an impressive longevity to it -- I can still smell the application I did to my face several hours ago. However, since I intended to write this review, I have been using the lotion for several days. At the time of application, there is a slight burning sensation wherever my skin is dryest, which is probably the irritants mentioned earlier. It goes on leaving a slightly thick/oily sensation (which my acne-suffering-adolescent-self would cringe to feel), one which doesn't abate much throughout the day. Beyond that, however, it does work effectively as a moisturizer, particularly for areas which do not see as much sensitivity.I had a difficult time deciding on a number of stars to give this product. If it were ranked based on its use for people like myself, I would give it 2 stars. If it were for people who don't have any particular problems with generic and long-lasting floral scents, lotions that go on thick, or skin sensitivity or allergies, this would be a solid product, an easy 4 stars. I'm going to assume that most people fall towards the middle of this bell curve (as these things tend to do), so I'm ranking it at 3 stars.
