A few things make a 5-star read for me: good writing, no cliches, good storyline, well-crafted characters. And this book checks all these boxes for me. It was a fast paced story that steered away from the usual pitfall. This is a impressive debut, and I look forward to more books from this author.

This book started so strong, I was ready to buy the entire series by Chapter 3. The character development, the author's voice - so good. She really did an excellent job, especially with Gage's growth.The ending felt a little rushed, but then the finale was a giant shocker, so definitely makes you want to keep on reading. Not to mention, I am invested in this family's story, and I want to read about the rest of the brothers plus the couple of other side characters who will hopefully also get HEAs. Excited that I've found a new series to devour.

This was a good solid read,but it was missing something. I don't enough time was spent on the chemistry between Ava and Brandon. There are times when you get moments when the build up is working and then you get a rehearsed feel.The mystery works really well,the building of that part of the story us really good. Overall this story is really good but it's lacking something, but it was a good way to spend time.

This is my first book by this author, but definitely not my last. I enjoyed this story from start to finish. The plot was well thought out and the characters did just to it. You will not put his book down until you have read the last word. This book was recommended by UniqueWords, LLC

This debut novel from Aaliyah Deana was so good! It was a great combination of romance and action/thriller and the twist at the end caught me by surprise. I can't wait to read the upcoming books in this series - don't sleep on Aaliyah!
