I used to LOVE these when they had the curved tops like in the photo... In my opinion, Mahogany Teakwood is the ONLY scent worth buying.. It smells amazing, it’s strong, and it actually lasts.. issues::: you HAVE to make sure the top is secure because if it falls, it can literally spill oil all over your radio, seats, carpet, everything! And this just happened to me with my new order! Not because the top was loose either! The new smooth, flat tops literally CRACKED open on their own! It hasn’t even been hot in Florida lately, only 70s and 80s! The oil spilled all over my car carpet and barely missed my radio! If this had happened in my Jeep with my new seats, I would have been PISSED! Now I’m just keeping them upright in my cup holders because honestly the new ones feel dangerous! I really think it’s an issue with the cap because it split completely wide open by itself! i am so wary of these now...

I bought "Mahogany Teakwood" and got bottles labelled "Teakwood Plus". I see that they are the same, if I search this listing enough. It smells much more sweet than masculine. Not like a woodsy scent I'd expect from the name. But, I actually purchased these to see how well they worked with the primary intention to use my own oils inside of them, eventually. (I make my own perfumes, colognes, etc., and have a large collection of oils.) If you are wanting to do the same, here are some observations which may guide you a bit. The string is short. From the photos, I expected it to be longer. It does appear to be specially woven to have a wicking center strand. Makes sense. But, I may try a few different types of string of my own to see if that can control the diffusion a little more, while allowing it to hang further down from my rearview mirror. The holes in the top of the lid pierce the inside. So, this is not just diffusing through the wood screw-top. This is actually hitting that wicking string. If you are finding that it is gone sooner than expected, it may be due to that string being a little too great at wicking the oils up, after inverting the bottle. I am sure that is purposeful, so that we return to purchase more, right. EDIT: Dropping one star for the nausiating early 2000's cheap cologne scent. Blech. Was this some AXE overstock, er what?

These smell great. Mahogany Teakwood. If you don’t smell it after a while you need to repeat the step in flipping it upside down a few seconds to wet the wood cap. I smell it even when I forget to.
