Make sure you've got some powerful batteries!
This didn't seem to work very well at first using my 2000mAh rechargeable batteries and just thought I'd wasted my money. But I decided to try some 3600mAh High Capacity 1.5V Batteries instead and what a difference they made! Works perfect now & is a pleasure to use! So satisfying hearing the crack and burn sounds with a successful kill! :-)

Fly zapper
This does work, I advise to hit flys as hard as you can for them to spark and die

Great product
I bought this for my husband as I was getting a bit fed of him chasing flies around the house with a tea towel pretending he's some ninja warrior! He loves this product and now thinks he's the next Andy Murray! It's easy to use and is very good quality. We've had it a while now and haven't had to charge the batteries up yet - we use rechargeable batteries. Good value for money for sure.

It’s Okay..
I’ve used this on a number of different types of flies and other insects, it works but it isn’t great. Capable of getting the job done, just doesn’t always work first time, but when it does, it’s great.

Highest watts available
I bought it as highest watts/ voltage. Its 3000, unlike mostly 1500 on amazonIt kills flies..It works with 3 batteries... batteries still going ok..not needed to change battery.. despite being used everyday. It should come with a hole in the handle to hange it.. very well made...high quality plastic.. not cheap looking.

This rubbish has stopped working after 30 days
At first it worked well. Then it stopped working. Replaced battery and still won't work. All the flies and bugs in contact are not zapped at all.

Works well just cheaper options out there
This item works well and is quite satisfying to use in a bizarre way.Using this electric swatter rather than a typical squash-type swatter has certainly saved mess on the walls (and we're still just very early into the mosquito season). It has a large head so you don't have to be incredibly quick and reactive like you do with a manual swatter too - there's room for slower reflexes with this one and it's still just as deadly. It's a shame that there were no batteries supplied as for the price (currently £13.99) you might perhaps have expected batteries to have been included (I appreciate that this means different shipping requirements in some places). To be fair it's clearly sold as excluding batteries. The swatter is lightweight and sturdy enough - not brilliant but strong enough - if you mis-swat and end up whacking your wall unintentionally then this is not going to last very long and it feels quite brittle plastic and the protection mesh is not the strongest. However, it's strong enough and so far reliable and accurate.Compared to the competition it's about average in price as there are cheaper options out there (which I have not tried and can't vouch for). Overall it's 4 stars from me, saves mess on the walls but the downside is another item to store which is larger than an old fashioned squatter and something else which requires batteries.
