I grew up with Bisto. Granules dissolve well in boiling water making it easy to make a fast good gravy without having to stand stirring at the stove. Thickness depends on you and how much water is used. Can also be used to flavour meats such as hamburger, that need to be cooked on top of the stove. Also use as a seasoning in meat pies etc,

I am very grateful for the time able to get this on Amazon. I have been using this. Bestowal gravy mix for at least 20 years, it makes life so much easier and makes the best gravy. I use the beef one and the chicken one.

This gravy tastes ok and is easy to make. I didn't know it has MSG, and I would not have ordered had i known that, but I have it, so I'll use it. Overall, tastes ok but really easy to mix and make.
