These bags are great quality but you need to understand that they will only work with vacuum chambers and not the cheap vacuum packers that suck the air out of the bags. A chamber sucks the air out of the whole chamber and not just the bag. If you try and use these with the cheaper vacuum sealers they will not be able to suck the air out of the bag due to the bags being smooth. These bags are far cheaper than the bags you have to use with the cheap sealers because they don’t have to have a raised surface on the bags to let the air out. BE WARNED THEY ONLY WORK WITH VACUUM CHAMBERS.

These bags ooze quality. The look to be perfect for professional use. But for me that was the problem as they don’t work with the lower end (sub £40) vacuum suction sealers. It looks like the bags unless stuffed, seal themselves by the two sides coming together and forming a seal that the vacuum sealers can’t suck the air out. I’d love to know which device that should work with and give it a go.

Because of the smooth walls, these are not suitable for vacuum storage.

It’s was good thing that I only bought these bags primarily to seal things. These bags DO NOT vacuum seal.

As expected, works ok.

These are quality bags but note that they are flat and so will not work in typical domestic vacuum sealers (the ones where you put the end of the bag in). Without embossing, the sealer cannot suck the air out. (It really should say this in the description, as it does on the Sous Vide Tools site.)These are designed for chamber sealers where you put the whole bag inside - and for this they are great quality and good value.
