I purchased a product that had this type of connector on it. Needed to get it so I could power a box in side the product. Worked like it should, 50 amp availability

The Anderson Plug Connector with Copper Ring 50A Battery Quick Connector Jumper Cable,with 10AWG 50cm Cable Towing Winch Quick Connect Cable,for Straddling Auto,Forklift trucks.(1 50A Anderson) is a nice prewired connector. I have a 100Ah lithium deep cycle battery (and will be purchasing another) that I use to power inverters and other 12v items when necessary. This size is good for 300 watt inverters and battery chargers, I use a 20A charger for my battery but can use a larger one if I choose. I also have larger Anderson connectors in 175A and 300A sizes on this battery for larger inverters and to parallel connect other batteries.

I've found several places I want to make 12V battery connections, yet don't want something that pulls out as easily as lighter plugs (and is limited to 10A). Anderson plugs like this seem the solution that hold well, can handle 50A, yet aren't unscrewing things to come apart. For example, I have a couple electric boat motors for inflatable boats needing 8-25A where this works great on the battery (just need a connector on the motor wires too). The rings fit most battery terminals well (5/16 ID). Color coding also helps keep track of proper connections (and yes, I've been "burned" by such in more than one way). Works for me.

I use a LiFePO4 battery box for camping, and some of my chargers have different style plugs; so I'm starting to convert everything to this Anderson style connector.This particular cable/connector will be left connected to the battery box. I attached my 10amp charger (see photo) with matching Anderson plug and it fit very well: not too tight or too loose, just a good snug fit. The 10ga cables are of decent quality, but not particularly soft/flexible. I do wish a plastic insert came with the connector to protect the exposed terminals, but I knew when I ordered that this was not included.

I’m using this cable with a 20 amp LIFEPO4 battery charger and a 100 AH battery. The charger came with a similar cable but with an additional one you can alternately charge two batteries without the hassle of removing and re-installing the cable at the battery each time. This is a definite advantage when dealing with multiple batteries and a single charger.The M8 ring terminals on the cable are the correct size for my batteries. The 10 AWG cable is well-suited to use with a 20 amp charger. For higher current applications, consult an ampacity chart to ensure this wire size is adequate. The description seems to imply that this is a 50 amp cable but actually only the contacts in the connector are rated at 50 amps, not the wire size. This could mislead some purchasers.I deducted one star for accuracy. The description indicates that cable has an Anderson connector but it is actually a decent copy, identical to that used on some other cables. . However, it mates fine with the real Anderson connector on the charger cable.

Nothing to complain about on this connector. It features the Anderson Plug Connector (full size) on one end with Copper rings on the other.Nice and thick, coated 10awg cables that run about a foot and a half long.Great for connecting batteries on all sorts of equipment, from golf carts to fork trucks.Quality feeling item that should hold up well and last long.

Durable and well-constructed. Anderson connector on one side of 10AWG flexible cable and heat shrinked connectors on the other. Appears to be highly reliable.
