Oh now wrong item
I had originally said I was gone to return this product because it said max pro and not Milwaukee on it so I thought they sent me the wrong item. So after speaking to my daughter who work for hardware store. She said it was compatible to Milwaukee and my batteries would work. So it work great and I learn something new.

Good to for the occasional user
I own several Milwaukee tools on a professional level. I picked this trimmer for rare/occasional use. It's plastic design is lightweight, but not very durable. It tends to hang up on anything bigger than your pinky finger unless you cut slowly enough. Battery life is really long with this tool. Overall, this trimmer is half the price of the pro model, and works very well for the occasional user.

This is the perfect flower bed hedge trimmer. We use it all the time. Takes a Milwaukee battery.

Cordless Hedge Trimmer
Poor quality. Instructions very poor.Returned it the same day and purchased a Milwaukee model for twice the price. You get what you pay.

Powerful and effective, but assembly is a major problem and there are no instructions provided.
Once assemble is complete and a battery is attached, the tool works very well and is more powerful than my corded B&D trimmer. Weight is similar to that tool without a cord plugged into it.My big problem is that "assembly required" wasn't part of the description. The manual provided has 8 pages of cautions but one paragraph of unpacking, including a caution to be sure you got all the parts, but no mention of what those parts were. No pictures, diagrams or instructions for placement were included. It wasn't hard to figure out where the switch/handle attached & the larger screws (3 provided, 2 needed) fit there. The safety guard fit fine in the other spot and needed 2 of the smaller screw type - only 1 was provided. I found a similar screw in my extensive collection of screws bought for other projects, so was able to complete the assembly to my satisfaction. They provided a very small Philips screw driver, which helped with screwing things in as the parts have very little room for a larger tool. I needed to pre-drive the small screws with my electric screw driver, since the hole for the screw was really only an indention in the hard plastic case. I had to do that and remove them before putting the safety guard on.Operating instructions and service instructions address parts of the device with reference numbers, as if a labeled diagram was available when there isn't even a picture. There was a sentence about attaching & removing the battery, but that is the same as with a Milwaukee brand tool. I did find it a bit harder to remove but otherwise it clearly works. The tool is less expensive than Milwaukee brand and is also lighter, so I think I'll be happy with it, but if you're not handy with tools you may need help putting it together.
