Well Recommended.
Fast delivery got it in two days in the Northeast. Packaged well zero damage. Paint finish was perfect and zero fitment issues on my 14 JKU.

Great addition - 2015 JKU Sahara!
The entire installation took about 1 hour, which included removing the factory running boards. My JK has a 3 1/2" lift with 35's, so installing these was pretty easy. I had no fitment issues at all, they went on very well and look fantastic. I did this by myself using two 5 gallon buckets (turned upside down at each end) to set the rails on while I bolted on each end. I did have the advantage of having an air impact wrench, but using a hand wrench would of worked fine as well. Only recommendation is to make sure before final tightening of the two mounting bolts is to push the rail towards the outside so that the body mount washer does not rub on the inner rail mounting bracket.Overall, fairly easy install, looks great and I actually feel much better if the Jeep was ever hit from a side impact due to the solid structure of these double rails!Note: I am not compensated in any way for this product. I write honest reviews from my actual experience after purchasing and using the product in an effort to pay it forward for the product reviews that have helped me make good purchases. If you found this review helpful, please note it below. Also, I respond to comments if there is a question.

Gets the job done
If I can get them on by myself, YOU can get them on by yourself. The instruction that come with it are Shittybuilt. Here's what you need:5\8th Deep socket and medium or larger ratchet. A power wrench or pwr driver would be beneficial, just don't cross thread. These things will help:Friendsmall to medium auto jacks standsfloor jack (i used my HF 3 ton and could move, twist handle etc with one hand)patiencecommon senseCaptain MorganThe Instructions say small end, they mean the ends that STICK OUT where the rails bolt on, one end is longer and goes at the back. There are two nuts at each end of the vehicle mentioned in the instructions, remove all of them and stage beneath closest tire tread.Place the rails on the correct side of vehicle with short at front, longer at rear.Prop the rails on to the jack stand as close to the height required to move in to place, and as close to the vehicle as possible.Place the 5\8th socket on to a 4" or more extension and place 1 nut on to the socket.Move the back end in to place first, and look up in to the rail hole to see if aligned with bolts.LIFT AND HOLD whilst putting the socket up in to the hole on the rail and hand thread until nut is secured. Do this for the second nut.Move to the front of the vehicle and repeat by inspecting the hole\bolt alignment and placing nut in to socket - LIFT AND HOLD, hand thread. If there is an alignment issue, use the floor jack to push the rail UP in to place, do not block the mount holes you need with the floor jack.Tighten the nuts at the front all the way since you will be at the front anyway, then tighten the back all the way. I found no torque specifications but common sense and "pretty danged tight" should be fine. If still in doubt consult Captain Morgan.I'll say this, the packaging for these rails is great, and even though the box mine came in looked gouged it wasn't a problem, there is more cardboard protection underneath. The date on mine was 9-2013 and I had no issues, just used the floor jack to push up where tight and was pretty easy. The powder coating is decent, the welds look good and the only stickers that were on there was a QA and a tiny gold "MADE IN CHINA". There are additional SMITTYBUILT yellow stickers in a bag you can use or not.The step areas are decent size, smoother than the rest of the powder coat. I bought some rubber tread at HF to put on there.Although the product quality seems good, I knocked off a point for the sheer LAMENESS of those instructions and terrible pics.

Awesome Upgrade for OEM Runners
I saw these on another Wrangler and loved them! My 2008 Wrangler Unlimited needed a replacement for the rusting brackets on the stock runners. These were an awesome replacement for the factory ones. Much more sturdy than I expected and the 2 mounting points were not only easy to access, but are very sturdy when weight is applied. This is my first Smittybilt product and won't be my last! Good Job, guys!

Exceptionally Poor mounting design
First off, I chose the Smittybilt Rock Rail/Steps based on Smittybilt's material quality and the overall look. I was in No way disapointed with either of these points! I still think these are some of the sharpest and most functional rock rails out to date, especially when price is brought into the equation. The actual quality of the materials used and the enginnering behind the design is Superb! With that being, please review the prior comments as well as this one before buying! I am by no means a stranger to "turning some wrenches" and am well equiped to handle any type of "bolt on" installation! Even with the proper tools including jack stands, floor jack, socket extensions, and an additional person for the installation, these rock rails/steps are severly hampered by a extremely poor design in how they are mounted to the vehichle! Without the use of a cutting porch; to heat up and bend the body mounts, the set I was sold could not be installed! The only reason I have rated this item so low is for the simple fact of the mounting design! The fact that Smittybilt does not engineer any "wiggle" room into their design goes along way to affecting their industry reputation.Good luck and have fun folks!

Great and sturdy
So the installation on these was like many of the other reviews. The drill holes did not match necessarily. The installation was done with 2 people and made things a lot easier.Other than having to twerk the holes a little they fit perfect on a 4 door wrangler unlimited. They are very sturdy and look really good. It was a great addition. As for functionality - it gives a good step when getting on to the Jeep. And also protects a from getting a lot of mud as well as rocks on the body of the Jeep. Does make for some extra heavy duty cleaning after a long mudding adventure.Would recommend getting this on a lifted Jeep. When we first installed it was a stock height and made the Jeep look a little over worked on. Once we put the Lift 2.75 it looked a lot better.
